A screen cleaning device (10) has a motor drive unit (3), bevel gear (21) and lead screws (4) having flexible modular striking arms (2). The fixing arrangement (1) for snap-fitting screen panel (18) has insert members (3) fixed on base plate (2) in vertical orientation, corresponding bore holes (17) on screen panel (18) and base plate (2). The panel (18) is snap- or press-fitted to base plate (2) whereby the male insert members (3) exactly fit the corresponding bore holes (17). A belt scraper for belt conveyors suitable for mounting on the head pulley comprises blade subassemblies (2), a mounting structure (1) and two side-mounting subassemblies (3) to ground the whole assembly and provide translatory adjustement motions in perpendicular directions. A torsion spring and a compression spring provided in each blade subassembly (2) provide automatic continuous adjustment of scraper blades and keep scraper blades in continuous contact with the belt surface. The torsion spring is given a pre-tension during the assembly of the blade subassembly (2). The compression spring forward force for automatically adjusting scraper blades for less wear.
A treaded lifter bar (1) for grinding mill is provided with a plurality of flexible treads (2) positioned over the core rubber matrix forming its main rubber surface. Treads (2) have a zig-zag configuration with higher rubber content in their wear zone to increase the surface area and reduce the wearing lifter bar (1). The treads (2) primarily absorb the impact force (3a) of slurry (4) and dissipate the heat generated due to impact. The pitch (3) is at a maximum at the inlet and at a minimum at the outlet providing increased screening efficiency. Maximum pitch produces low media height with increased inlet velocity and minimum pitch increases media height. The spiral (2) is of single start, double start or multi start configuration. The pitch (3) decreases along the trommel such that screening efficiency is improved without affecting the retention time.
A ceramic chute liner (10) comprising of a plurality of mechanically interlocked ceramic blocks (1). The corresponding mechanically interlocked ceramic blocks (1) have rubber films between them along respective adjoining surfaces such that, the ceramic blocks (1) are bonded with each other with substantial strength and the impact force is substantially reduced.
