The connection clamp (1) has two clamp ends and a double ring structure, so that two parallel clamping elements (11, 12) are provided, of C-shape at ring parts thereof, sharing a same longitudinal axis (X). Corresponding interlocking parts (11f, 12f) are carried by the elements (11, 12), to form two pairs of jaws in a clamp end for engagement of two tongue members that belong to the other clamp end. A bridging portion (31) fixedly connects a first pair of jaws to the second pair of jaws with a predetermined spacing. The clamp allows connecting a flexible tube (T) to a barb connector (9) protruding into a tube end, with a circumferential radial bulge of the tube, formed at location of the barb (19), passing between the clamping elements, while a radial interspace is left relative to the bridging portion to prevent any clamp contact with the bulge.
The connector (1) has a valve assembly with a tubular body (2), a plug (15) movable inside the body and a sleeve (20) to control plug position. A flange (3) on the body (2) delimits a recess where a latch (10) can interact with an inserting male part of a complementary connector or analogous structure. The connector comprises an aseptic attachment interface (5) at a front open end (2b) with a removable membrane (M). For aseptic fluid management in a connection involving two connectors, the connector (1) is configured to allow a disconnection after two successive steps, which are: moving the plug (15) in a closing position by a first manual actuation using the sleeve, and then displacing the latch by a second manual actuation using an external actuator (12) partly covering the flange and which is released by moving an blocker (14) in response to the first actuation.
The connector (1) has a body (2) provided with a flange (3), forming a central opening (O) between a female member (31) and a male member (32). The planar flange face (F3) has an axial access (30) of the female member and the male member (32) protrudes axially from the flange face. A membrane (M) removably attached to the connector covers this face to seal the opening, so that a genderless connecting device is obtained, allowing mating engagement of the connector (1) with an identical complementary connector (101). A clipping interface forming the female member allows locking a pre-coupled state of these connectors (1, 101) with each membrane still present. The flange of the connector (1) houses a slider (10) adapted to contact the mating insert (104) of the male member engaged through the axial access (30). The slider allows locking and/or unlocking a final position of the insert.
The connector arrangement has a connector (1) provided with a plug (15) movable inside a tubular body. A blocking part (12a), clipped around the body (2), provisionally locks a retracted open position of the plug, to retain the plug away from a plug seating surface provided near a front central opening of the connector, where a junction plane extends for a coupled state of the connector (1) with a compatible/identical connector (101). An aseptic attachment structure (5) with membrane (M) initially seals the opening. A fluid connection system (100) with a pair of interlocked connector arrangements allows synchronizing membrane removal with unlocking of the respective plugs (15), by forming a removably clippable assembly including the blocking parts (12a, 12b). Each membrane of attachment structure is secured to the clip assembly (12) to be pulled, radially outward, with this assembly. Return means (20) may push the plugs for having aseptic disconnection.

System and method for detecting a possible loss of integrity of a flexible bag for biopharmaceutical product
Integrity of a flexible bag is verified by a testing system, using helium to detect existence of a possible hole. The bag is preliminary placed in vacuum chamber of a fluid-tightly isolated enclosure. After connecting a port of the bag to a helium feeding pipe and after pre-pressurizing the bag with nitrogen, a test is performed in a vacuum suction mode for a detection area outside the bag in the enclosure. Before starting the test phase, the bag is additionally filled with an amount of helium. A detection detects information representative of helium partial pressure in the internal volume, to allow detection of helium escaping from the bag, by analysis of a helium partial pressure drop. A small amount of nitrogen is sufficient to decrease leak rate mean value, so that uncertainty regarding integrity of some bags decreases.
