An airtight bag body is formed by bonding a plurality of sheets of an elastic material such as vinyl, polypropylene or the like using a high frequency wave, and the bag is expanded by injecting air thus forming a mannequin imitating the figure of the upper half and the lower half of the body. The upper bag portion imitating the upper half of the body and the lower bag portion imitating the lower half of the body are connected by a joining line with a curved gore for a sheet forming the base portion. Further, the sheets are bonded using a bonding tool thus forming an airtight bag. Consequently, an air injection mannequin which can represent a natural and realistic figure and not spoiling the commodity image of clothes for a person seeing a mannequin wearing the clothes is provided.
