The present invention relates to a preparation method for nitrocellulose for reducing environmental pollution and an isopropyl alcohol recycling method used for the preparation of nitrocellulose, the preparation method comprising: a step of pulverizing a pulp into a predetermined size; a step of producing nitrocellulose by using the pulverized pulp and a mixed acid in which sulfuric acid and nitric acid are mixed; a step of washing and concentrating the acid portion of the nitrocellulose while separating the nitrocellulose from the acid; a step of removing nitric acid remaining in the nitrocellulose and adjusting viscosity; a step of washing residual acid or impurities in the nitrocellulose with washing water; a step of separating water from the nitrocellulose and substituting the moisture left in the nitrocellulose with isopropyl alcohol; and a step of packaging the nitrocellulose that has undergone substitution with isopropyl alcohol.
