High voltage leak detection can be used to detect leaks in containers and is particularly useful in pharmaceutical applications in which small leaks in sterile containers such as viles, syringes, ampules etc. must be detected reliably. The high voltage leak detection relies upon the fluid within the container being at least partially conducting.
