An exemplary auger stud extends along a longitudinal rotational axis that defines a proximal direction and a distal direction opposite the proximal direction. The auger stud generally includes a body portion, a stem, a first grind plate mounting section, a second grind plate mounting section, and a grind knife mounting section. The stem extends distally from the body portion. The first grind plate mounting section is positioned proximally of the body portion, and has a first circular cross-sectional geometry. The second grind plate mounting section is positioned proximally of the first grind plate mounting section, and has a second circular cross-sectional geometry. The grind knife mounting section is positioned between the first grind plate mounting section and the second grind plate mounting section, and has a first non-circular cross-sectional geometry.
An exemplary system is provided for holding storage goods, and generally includes a first tray and a second tray. The first tray includes a plurality of first wells, a first engagement pattern, and a first long axis, and the first engagement pattern is formed at least in part on one or more of the first wells. The second tray includes a plurality of second wells, a second engagement pattern, and a second long axis, and the second engagement pattern is formed at least in part on one or more of the second wells. The first engagement pattern and the second engagement pattern are configured to engage one another to thereby discourage relative shifting of the first tray and the second tray. An exemplary system is provided for holding canning jars of varying sizes, and generally includes a first tray and a second tray. The first tray includes a first plurality of wells, including a first tray first well. The first tray first well includes a first engagement feature on an exterior surface thereof, and the first engagement feature has a first geometry. The second tray includes a second plurality of wells, including a second tray first well. An electric food smoker is disclosed that includes a smoker chamber for holding food to be smoked, a wood compartment for holding smoke producing material to generate smoke, a chamber coil in the smoker chamber to control cooking temperature, and a wood coil in the wood compartment to control temperature for generating smoke. The wood compartment is separated from the smoker chamber. The wood compartment can be located in and insulated from the smoker chamber. The wood compartment can have vents allowing smoke to exit into the smoker chamber. The wood coil can have multiple temperature settings to control the amount of smoke generated; or can have a high smoke setting for generating more smoke and a normal smoke setting for generating less smoke. The chamber coil can maintain the cooking temperature in the smoker chamber regardless of the temperature setting for the wood coil.
A dehydrator is disclosed that includes a cavity, door and positioning mechanism. The cavity is defined by multiple walls and has an open front that the door covers. The door is movable between a closed position and a fully open position, and the positioning mechanism can stop and maintain the door at any partially open position in between. The positioning mechanism can be part of a door handle that can be used to move the door with one hand. The positioning mechanism can use magnets and the door tracks can be magnetic to hold the door at any desired position. The positioning mechanism can be movable between an engaged position where the magnets are connected to the door tracks, and a disengaged position where they are not connected. The dehydrator handle can include a hinge that moves the positioning mechanism between the engaged and disengaged positions.
