A reciprocating-type rice or brown rice end cutting device, comprising a rice carrying plate (1) and a sliding assembly. The rice carrying plate (1) is installed on a frame by means of the sliding assembly. The upper surface of the rice carrying plate (1) is provided with two knife grooves (1-1) and a row of rice grooves (1-2) along the length direction of the rice carrying plate (1). One knife groove (1-1) runs through one ends of all the rice grooves (1-2), and the other knife groove (1-1) runs through the other ends of all the rice grooves (1-2). The "running through" refers to the knife groove line passing through the outline of the rice groove (1-2) at the end of the rice groove (1-2). A rice drop bin (2) and a knife shaft (3) are installed on the frame. Blades (4) are fixedly sleeved on the knife shaft (3). The upper surface of the rice carrying plate (1) is provided with at least one row of rice grooves (1-2) and at least two knife grooves (1-1) along the width direction of the rice carrying plate (1). The structure above solves the problem that rice ends cannot be cut off accurately due to the movement or splashing of rice particles, and the effect of better retaining the nutrition of rice germs is achieved.
