The prepared areca nut extract not only obviously improves the transfer rates of arecoline, arecaidine, and areca polyphenol, but also effectively removes heavy metal such as lead, arsenic, and mercury, improves the activity and safety of the areca nut extract, can obviously decrease the residual rate of phenol red in the stomach of a mouse, has a good gastric emptying effect, and can be better applied to preparation of a medicine for improving gastric motility.
