A deck resurfacing material is made of a kiln-dried, southern yellow pine wood board. The board has had treatment with a non-metallic preservative and stabilizer system. The board has a top, a length, two ends and two sides with side edges. A grooved pattern on top includes flat areas at each side, two sets of grooves interiorly of the flat areas and another flat area interiorly between the two sets of grooves. The board has a transition from the top to each side edge that is radiused and the side edges are not tongue-and grooved. The two ends have end matching in the form of a tongue at one end of the board and a groove at the other end of the board so the board can be installed with end matching to a like board, and a transition from the top to each end that is a radiused.
A collapsible air gap device and assembly. In one embodiment, the device comprises an upper plate, a lower plate, and a rib secured at the upper plate and at the lower plate. The result is a hybrid ventilation device adapted to ventilate an attic space in a variety of configurations.
A dust wand cleaner for dust wands that have radially-arrayed fibers that protrude to a define a generally cylindrical fiber head. The cleaner includes two open end sections and a midsection. Each end section has an internal passageway that preferably narrows from a first width that easily receives an inserted end of a generally cylindrical fiber head of a dust wand to a second width that compresses the fibers of the dust wand. The midsection has an internal passageway that is aligned with the internal passageways of the end sections, that is wider than the second width and that has inwardly extending bristles. When a dust wand is passed through the aligned passageways of the two open end sections and the midsection, debris adhering to the dust wand fibers is removed from the dust wand by being combed by the bristles.
A frame has a wheel assembly that can move up or down. A linkage extends between a catch to the wheel assembly and a grip on the frame, so the wheel assembly can be released for vertical movement with respect to the channel. A tray affixed to the frame near the bottom of the channel can receive a panel when the wheel assembly is at an upper position. Then, the frame and panel can be briefly lifted off the ground. The linkage can be activated to release the catch so the wheel assembly drops and is secured by the catch in a lower position, resulting in the wheel's protrusion below the bottom of the frame. This causes the weight of the device and the panel to be borne on the wheel, so the panel can be wheeled around the jobsite by one person.

Lower edge finish for drywall with installation aids
A lower edge finish for a drywall includes a channel with first and second sidewalls, the channel sized to receive a drywall sheet. A base underneath the channel can support drywall sheet above a floor and has a recess below the channel that extends from the first sidewall toward the second sidewall and has a curved furrow upward toward the channel. A paint guard includes a sheet and an edge that is thicker than the sheet. The edge has a lip that is of a shape complementary to the furrow, so the lip can be passed into the recess and the lip becomes lodged in the furrow to retain the edge between the floor and the base, and the sheet extends away from the stud wall to protect the floor from drippings from the drywall sheet.

A kit for forming a monument includes a backplate having a top surface, a plurality of tiles that each have a face with a raised symbol on the face configured to be positioned selectively on the top surface of the backplate, and a perimeter frame sized to mate with the backplate to form a cavity. The tiles can be located in positions on the top surface of the backplate, the perimeter frame can be affixed to the backplate, and a moldable material can be flowed into the cavity where the moldable material can harden. The perimeter frame, backplate and tiles can then be removed from the hardened moldable material, leaving a hardened material with a surface having a recess formed by the raised symbol.
A crate assembly for storing one or more items. The crate has a bottom face and a plurality of side faces, wherein the bottom face comprises a plurality of slat assemblies installed onto the bottom rail assemblies and each side face comprises a plurality of slat assemblies installed onto a pair of corner rail assemblies. In one embodiment, the crate includes a plurality of slats with each slat having a cap on each end making a slat assembly with the cap having a channel adapted to slide the slat along a rail, a plurality of corner rail assemblies each defining a corner of the crate assembly with each corner rail assembly including a vertical rail adapted for receiving the cap of a slat assembly; and a plurality of bottom rail assemblies. Each bottom rail assembly has one end connected to a bottom end of one corner rail assembly and an opposing end connected to a bottom end of another corner rail assembly. Each bottom rail assembly also includes a horizontal rail adapted for receiving the cap of a slat assembly.

A landscaping tie system comprised of landscaping timbers and connectors. The landscaping timber comprises four flat boards each having an inside face, an outside face and two end edges. The four flat boards are mounted onto a center joint so that the four flat boards define a perimeter face of a timber and an inner channel inside the perimeter face, whereby the center joint is positioned within the inner channel. Two landscaping timbers may be joined by a connector with an outer profile to nest within the channel of each of the two landscaping timbers to establish an increased size timber arrangement.
A seating assembly having a bench configuration and a table configuration. The seating assembly comprises a bench having a seat with two rear legs that extend above the seat and a backrest mounted onto a spaced-apart pair of bases that are mounted on respective ones of the rear legs. Each rear leg includes a recess configured to receive a portion of one of the bases to support the backrest in the bench configuration. A pair of mounting posts are installed adjacent to the rear legs to hold respective ones of the bases and further include pivot pins extending through holes on each mounting post and extending through holes on one of each of the pair of bases. The backrest and bases can rotate about the pivot pin to switch between the bench configuration and the table configuration. Two seating assemblies may be combined to form a full-sized table.
A clamp for installing a siding onto a building. The clamp comprises an upper frame having a nail for mounting the clamp onto the building and a lower frame having a top end pivotally connected to a lower end of the upper frame with a hook at an opposing end of the lower frame for holding a bottom of the siding. A spring is included biasing the lower frame with respect to the upper frame to angle the lower frame away from the building. In operation, the clamp is mounted onto the building and the hook is aligned to a position wherein the siding is to be installed, whereby the bottom of the siding may be placed on the hook and mounted onto the building.
