An inflatable sleeving apparatus and method for a hose (5). The method comprises the following steps: a hollow guide pin (41) is inserted into the front end of the hose (5); compressed air is introduced into the hollow guide pin (41), so that a front section of the hose (5) is inflated by means of the compressed air; a cutter (21) cuts off the hose (5) in front of an air outlet end of the hollow guide pin (41) to obtain a hose section (6); after the outside of the hollow guide pin (41) is sleeved with a certain number of hose sections (6), a hose mold (32) clamps the hose sections (6), the hollow guide pin (41) withdraws from the hose sections (6), and the hose mold (32) moves the hose sections (6) to the next station to sleeve a wire. According to the method, sleeving of the hose (5) is implemented in an inflatable manner, and the hose (5) is filled the compressed air, so that the inner diameter consistency is good, and the wire is conveniently sleeved; secondly, the hose (5) can further have certain rigidity, so that the hose does not fall off or warps to block an equipment gap in a transfer process; furthermore, cutting can further be facilitated, and a more smooth cut surface can also be obtained without auxiliary structures such as a cutting board.
