The invention relates to metal forming, in particular to shaping blanks by forging, mainly the blanks of the type of gas-turbine engine blades, which are made of nanostructural titanium two-phase alloys providing specified mechanical properties, and can be used for mechanical engineering and in the aviation industry. The blank pressing method involves at least two operations consisting in heating a blank for each pressing operation and cooling it after each operation, wherein prior to pressing, the blank is exposed to intensive plastic deformation to form an ultra-fine grained structure, and, afterwards, the blank is heated to a temperature less by 200-300°C than the polymorphous transformation temperature, the pressing process is carried out in isothermic conditions and the blank is subsequently cooled to a room temperature after each operation. The invention makes it possible to improve the strength and fatigue properties of blanks and to reduce the energy consumption and the cost of the process.

The invention is used for forming the structure of ultra-fine grain semi-finished products and for increasing the complex of mechanical properties of long-length metal materials, in which the length-diameter ratio is greater than 100, by means of deformation processing. The method consists in carrying out offset drawing which involves metal deformation by applying a drawing force through two tandem conical dies and simultaneously rotating one of the dies. The invention makes it possible to carry out a deformation process associated with the modification of the physico-mechanical properties of a metal at a low production cost owing to the fact that the die rotation produces additional shear deformation by means of the eccentricity which is formed by the conical channel of the dies and is defined in relation to the axis of rotation.
