The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing antibacterial sand for molding having excellent contamination resistance and cohesion and, more specifically, the method comprises: a releasable wax coating step of coating releasable wax on sand; an adhesive wax coating step of coating an adhesive wax mixture on the sand obtained from the releasable wax coating step; an insect repellent spraying step of spraying an insect repellent on the sand obtained from the adhesive wax coating step; an animal access-blocking agent spraying step of spraying an animal access-blocking agent on the sand obtained from the insect repellent spraying step; and a cooling and selecting step of cooling and selecting the sand obtained from the animal access-blocking agent spraying step. The sand manufactured through the aforementioned steps has excellent cohesion so as to be suitable for molding, and has excellent contamination resistance and antibacterial effects. Furthermore, since the insect repellent and the animal access-blocking agent are coated thereon, a clean state is capable of being maintained for a long period of time.
