The present invention relates to a novel large-scale synthesis method for cynandione A, and has been completed by identifying that cynandione A can be synthesized on the gram-scale in merely two steps through continuous oxidation/regioselective arylation between 2,5-dihydroxyacetophenone and 2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone. That is, the synthesis method of the present invention comprises steps that are simpler and shorter than those of a conventional technique, and thus can be applied to mass synthesis of cynandione A through optimization.
