One or more upward-facing compartments, including a collapsible basin, a hanging flexible pocket, a foldable box, a storage cup, a drink cup, an LED light, and a wireless charger, are disposable on the outer portion and accessible to a user proximate the furniture. A portion of the at least one of the compartments intersects the horizontal plane. The compartments are removable or collapsible for allowing the outer portion to be folded against the outer furniture planar member. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
