Provided is a method for producing fine molybdenum disulfide particles, by which the fine molybdenum disulfide particles can be efficiently produced at a high conversion rate even with low energy consumption. This method for producing fine molybdenum disulfide particles includes a step in which molybdenum trioxide is irradiated with electromagnetic waves in the presence of sulfur and heated thereby and the heated molybdenum trioxide is reacted with the sulfur. The electromagnetic waves have a frequency in the range of 300-30,000 MHz.
To provide a method for producing molybdenum trioxide fine particles by which molybdenum trioxide fine particles can be produced at a high recovery rate even at low energy consumption by easy ON/OFF control and selective heating. A method for producing molybdenum trioxide fine particles according to the present invention comprises: a vaporization step in which molybdenum trioxide is heated and vaporized by irradiating molybdenum trioxide with electromagnetic waves; and a particle formation step in which the vaporized molybdenum trioxide is cooled in an unheated atmosphere and converted into particles to obtain molybdenum trioxide fine particles. The frequency of the electromagnetic waves is in the range of 300-30,000 MHz.
