The invention relates to a device and a method for safety instrumented control of a machine, said machine (1) being equipped with an electric drive, being operated by a person, and comprising at least one metal component (2) capable of causing injury in the event of a mechanical interaction with said person. The device is provided with a left-hand and a right-hand conductive glove (10, 12) in the form of an under-glove, a left-hand and a right-hand insulating glove in the form of an over-glove, a control device (8) which controls the electric drive of the machine (1) and to which said conductive gloves (10, 12) can be connected, and a resistance test device (16) of said control device (8), which compares the resistance between the left-hand and the right-hand conductive glove (10, 12) to a predetermined minimum resistance and a predetermined maximum resistance, and prevents said drive from being switched on if the resistance that has been detected is lower than the minimum resistance or greater than the maximum resistance.

An apparatus for producing flake ice from a fluid and a method for cleaning an apparatus for producing flake ice are proposed. The apparatus is designed with a rotatably disposed evaporator roller (2), a shaft (1) on the evaporator roller (2) that transmits torque from a drive to the evaporator roller (2), a scraper (3) for removing ice that has been formed from the fluid at the surface of the evaporator roller (2), a pan (4) which receives the fluid and in which pan (4) the evaporator roller (2) is immersed at least partially, and a cleaning device for cleaning, descaling and/or disinfecting purposes. The cleaning device comprises at least one feed line opening into the pan (4) for a cleaning fluid and a recirculation device (6), which recirculates the cleaning fluid in the pan (4) and generates a flow of the cleaning fluid in the pan (4).

Abstract
Disclosed is an apparatus for producing flake ice from a liquid. Said apparatus comprises a stationary, static evaporator (1, 31, 61) that has the shape of a cylinder. At least one cooling medium duct (64, 66, 68) is arranged inside the evaporator. A cooling medium inlet (5, 35, 62) and a cooling medium outlet (6, 36, 63) on one or both faces of the evaporator (1, 31, 61) are used for feeding and discharging the cooling medium to and from the evaporator. The liquid that is to be frozen is applied to the external face of the jacket (2, 32, 67) of the evaporator (1, 31, 61) by means of an application device (8, 38, 69) extending along the external face of the jacket (2, 32, 67). The ice formed on the surface of the evaporator (1, 31, 61) is removed using an ice removing device (11, 41, 72).
