Abstract
The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for establishing ground truth in human state detection. In one embodiment, the disclosure teaches recording physiological data over a continuous duration of at least a threshold duration that is sufficient for capturing representation of the target state in bio signals used for detection. The recorded data is segmented into shorter analysis windows, as a step toward continuous state detection, each window less than the threshold duration, and labeled with a ground truth indicative of the target state. The windows and labels are stored in non-transitory memory, for later use in training, testing, and validating one or more state prediction models. The method enhances the accuracy of state detection models by providing a more representative ground truth through prolonged recordings, which capture the variable manifestations of human states in physiological processes.

Abstract
Disclosed herein are methods and systems for real-time detection of psychophysiological states from eye movement data. The methods involve capturing eye gaze vectors and eyelid openness levels over time using a user-facing camera. A sequence of discrete eye behaviors, including saccades, fixations, blinks, and long closures, is determined from the eye gaze vectors and eyelid openness levels. The sequence of discrete eye behaviors is transformed into a machine readable representation using a sliding time window. A mathematical or machine learning model then maps the machine readable representation of eye behaviors to one or more psychophysiological states. This approach provides a computationally efficient mechanism for predicting psychophysiological states by compressing gaze data into a continuous, numerical representation of eye behavioral events correlated with human psychophysiological states, including drowsiness, cognitive load, stress, and others.

Abstract
In at least one embodiment, a system for monitoring microphone performance in a vehicle is provided. The system includes a reference sound sensing system, a microphone, and at least one controller. The reference sound sensing system transmits a reference signal indicative of sound captured external to the vehicle. The microphone transmits a captured audio signal indicative of the sound captured external to the vehicle. The at least one controller receives the reference signal and the captured audio signal and obtains a difference between the reference signal and the captured audio signal. The at least one controller compares at least the difference to a predetermined threshold level and transmits an output signal indicative of the microphone exhibiting a performance issue.

Abstract
An apparatus and method for decreasing noise caused by electromagnetic influence in a headphone are provided, in which a metal plate and a magnetic plate are placed between the electrical loop and the speaker inside the headphone, where the metal plate can be located between the electrical loop and the magnetic plate. When a loop current flowing in the electrical loop varies, an eddy current may be generated on the metal plate with its direction opposing to that of the loop current in the electrical loop. Therefore, the magnetic field generated from the eddy current may actively cancel out the influenced magnetic field brought by the varying loop current.

Abstract
Systems and methods are disclosed for predicting when to display an advertisement to a driver of a vehicle, based on environmental sensor data and driver status data from a driver monitoring system (DMS) of the vehicle during operation of the vehicle by a driver. In particular, the environmental sensor data and driver status data may be reformatted into a plurality of numerical scores associated with different groupings of elements of the environmental sensor data and driver status data, and inputted into a machine learning (ML) model that is trained to output a prediction of a suitability of conditions for displaying the advertisement. The ML model may be trained at a remote training system, based on supervised learning, where explicit driver input/feedback on the timing of the display of the ad is used as ground truth data.

Abstract
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for enhancing active noise cancellation (ANC) in vehicles, particularly for addressing the challenges associated with broadband noise control. The disclosure introduces a novel approach to subband adaptive filtering (SAF) that significantly reduces computational load and improves noise cancellation across a wide frequency spectrum. The noise cancellation system comprises a reference sensor, adaptive weight filter, speakers, error microphones, signal processing unit, subband processing module, gradient determination module, adaptive step size determination module, subband adaptive weight update module, and weight transformation module. The disclosed approaches enable implementation of ANC in environments with limited processing power without sacrificing performance, by reducing complexity and improving convergence speed and stability of the adaptive filter weights.

Abstract
Disclosed are techniques for ambient sound generation. Some aspects of ambient sound generation involve determining target ambient sound information based on ambient sound design reference information, determining ambient sound generation information based on the target ambient sound information, where the ambient sound generation information identifies one or more subordinate ambient sounds and one or more feature parameters corresponding to the one or more subordinate ambient sounds, and generating a target ambient sound based on the ambient sound generation information.
