Abstract

According to the present invention, a remote management system for a receiver comprises a P-type receiver, a receiver management server, and a terminal for management. The P-type receiver comprises a nonvolatile memory which is capable of transmitting a short message signal generated on the basis of a short message including the diagnosis result from self-diagnosing the receiving state of an alarm signal or including the received result of a real alarm signal, and including service authentication information from a detector or a transmitter through a mobile communication network, and which is also capable of storing set data and firmware. The receiver management server receives the short message signal through the mobile communication network, and can store the short message extracted from the short message signal in a diagnosis alarm database when the service registration status for remotely managing the receiver for the P-type receiver is authenticated on the basis of the service authentication information. The terminal for management can access the receiver management server, and can request that the set data inputted by a manager passes through the receiver management server via the mobile communication network in order to be transmitted to the P-type receiver. At this time, the receiver management server receives the set data from the terminal for management to transmit to the P-type receiver, and the P-type receiver can be operated to store the set data transmitted from the receiver management server in the nonvolatile memory.

Abstract

In a line-test mode, a p-type receiver capable of testing a line can test the status of the signal line connecting, in parallel, a plurality of sensors, transmitters, and termination resistors installed in each monitored area. In a line interface, a first resistor and a second resistor are connected in series between a terminal for applying a direct-current driving voltage and the signal line, and thus the voltage across the second resistor and the signal line is outputted as a diagnosis signal. In the line-test mode, a control unit compares the range of the voltage level of the diagnosis signal with the determination criteria, thereby determining the line status in a monitored area.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an R-type/GR-type receiver system, comprising: a plurality of sensors/transmitters for transmitting alarm signals; a plurality of emergency equipment which operate in accordance with control signals; a plurality of optical relays; and an R-type/GR-type receiver. The optical relays are connected to the sensors/transmitters and to the emergency equipment, and connected to each other in a daisy-chain manner via an optical cable to optically and upwardly transmit alarm signals and optically and downwardly transmit control signals. The optical relays electrically input/output alarm signals to/from the sensors/transmitters and control signals to/from the emergency equipment. The R-type/GR-type receiver receives alarm signals from one of the optical relays, and transmits control signals to one of the optical relays.
