Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing multi-layered shaped bodies, in particular internal fitting parts for vehicles, in which a foamed plastic (25) is applied to a rear side of a cover material (14-1, 14-2), wherein firstly a self-supporting barrier layer (11) impenetrable to the foamed plastic (25) is produced. The application and fixation of the cover material with at least one partial region of the rear side thereof on the self-supporting barrier layer (11) forms a precomposite (17) between the barrier layer (11) and the cover material (14-1, 14-2), even before introduction into the foaming mould (20). This effectively prevents the cover material from slipping during the foam-backing.
