A pole saw apparatus includes a saw blade, a pole, and a tubular adapter connecting the saw blade to the pole. The adapter includes an obround blade-receiving end that stably telescopingly engage sides of the blade-receiving end, with bolts fixing the blade on the adapter. The adapter also includes a pole-engaging end that is cylindrically shaped to telescopingly engage the anchoring end of the pole. A friction clamp includes a transverse shaft extending through the pole, the shaft being shaped to slide into longitudinal slots in the pole-engaging end of the adapter and then rotate into circumferential slots where it is not longitudinally removable. A rotatable cam handle on the clamp is manipulated to create circumferential friction to hold (or release) the adapter on the pole. The blade, adapter and pole align along a common centerline for robust and balanced use.

The tree stand and climbing stick system of an embodiment of the present invention allows for a user to assemble sticks, install onto a tree, then use a swing-arm on the sticks, as an improved means for safely and securely installing your tree stand while in the tree. The stand has a simple female receiver which installs on a male fitting on the swing-arm. Once installed on the swing-arm, the user can then have both hands free to connect the straps to the tree. No one has used climbing sticks as a method to improve the user experience for hanging a lock on tree stand.

A tote for dragging a game carcass has first and second identically configured rigid members that are movable toward each other to bring each of two side-by-side recesses defined by one of the members into alignment with a different one of the recesses defined by the other of the members when the members are urged toward engagement. An alignment assisting projection carried by the one member is extensible into an opening defined by the other member. The recesses are preferably substantially semi-circular and sized to close about and grasp small regions of front or rear legs of a game carcass. A flexible tow rope or cable extends through aligned passages of the rigid members and connects with a handle. Pulling the tow rope or cable can help clamp the rigid members together.
A pole saw includes a long handle with end adapter, a blade-carrying component pivoted to the end adapter for movement between an extended use position and a handle-adjacent storage position, and a saw blade fixed to the blade-carrying component. The end adapter and holding component are cast aluminum for strength and light weight, and are pivoted together about an offset axis so that the blade and blade-carrying component are positioned adjacent the handle in a partially protected position when collapsed for storage. A folding lock mechanism includes an anchor that engages a saw-holding bolt on the blade-carrying component, and a wing nut that can be tightened to secure the sheath on the blade.

A tree stand for removable attachment to a tree comprising: a support bar having an upper end and a lower end with a length therebetween; an upper jaw coupled to the upper end of the support bar and a lower jaw coupled to the lower end of the support bar, and a platform mounted to the outer side of the lower jaw by insertion of a set of protrusions on the platform into the pivoting snap locks of the arms of the lower jaw. A seat may also be attached to the support par through the upper jaw.
A tree stand lock apparatus comprises a ratchet buckle part and a wire rope part. The ratchet buckle part comprises a spool with a transaxial bore, a ratcheting lever handle, a locking means and a base affixed to a hook. The wire rope part comprises a wire rope, one end of which is affixed to a hook. The lock may be employed by wrapping the wire rope around a portion of a tree stand, hooking the hook of the rope to the hook of the ratchet buckle and threading the wire rope through the transaxial bore. The ratchet buckle is operated to render the wire rope taut and the buckle is locked in the closed position.
