When mounting blades (22, 24) on wind turbines of the kind that not include gearboxes, problems will occur performing mounting the blades, as the turbine hub can't be rotated during the assembly. This often results in time- and cost-consuming movements of the lifting cranes to lift the blades to and from their connection points on the turbine hub (26). In addition, the prior art assembly methods result in, that the blade is not introduced perpendicular into the hub, causing the need for complicated operations with the lifting crane. There is provided a method to solve said issues comprising a rotation of the nacelle (40) between mounting the blades, resulting in a direct introduction of the blade in the hub, which operates with a short crane outrigger arm (32), and where no need for movement of the lifting crane (30).

In connection with maintenance and inspection of wind turbines there is frequently used mobile cranes for lifting heavy cargo between terrain level (6) and the nacelle, which is expensive, and often inappropriate due to the relative long crane arm. There is disclosed a device (2) for establishing admittance and transport of cargo to and from a wind turbine construction (4) above ground level (6) and comprising a part (8) which can be raised and lowered and/or by wires (10) and winches (16) located in terrain level (6) connected with snatch blocks (14) attached to a part of the construction (4) can be raised and/or lifted in relation to the construction (4). The part comprises a number of travelling crabs (18) according to the numbers of winches (12) and the special feature is that the travelling crabs (18) are guided of the wires (10) between the winches (12) and the snatch blocks (14), and that the part (8) with the travelling crabs (18) are displaced upwards or downwards by said wires (10). Hereby is achieved the advantage that the wires (10) are used as well to hoisting the part, and as guide for the travelling crabs (18).

To enable the clamping in practice, and to be able to compensate for different hole patterns in the flanges, there has been developed different fixtures with compensating abilities for the placement of the holes in the fixture, which has lead to slow assembly work in mounting the known fixtures, as well as it not has been possible to adapt the known fixtures to all hole patterns and flange sizes. By the invention there is disclosed a solution on said problems by specifying a fixture (4), which provides for retaining of ends of members with flanges, regardless of flange diameter and hole patterns, and which also is faster to install.
