The present invention relates to a flexible solid article comprising a water-soluble polymer, particularly a flexible solid article in the form of a sheet which provides improved dissolution. The present inventors have found that when a flexible solid unit dose article comprises an anionic surfactant system including specific amounts of an alkyl taurate surfactant it provides for accelerated dissolution of the article comprising a water-soluble polymer while maintaining structural integrity during storage and handling. The present invention is in the field of cleaning compositions.
