Abstract

An agricultural tool includes a wheel body and a flexible tire with a hollow chamber and an inner surface around this hollow chamber; a circular opening on the chamber; a pair of beads bordering this opening; and a spacer at least partially tubular with two axially opposite end faces. Over one portion corresponding to one of the beads, the inner surface extends frustoconically by widening radially outward of the flexible tire, and one of the end faces of the spacer has an axially protruding surface. The spacer is placed across the opening of the tire such that the protruding surface engages the inner surface in an area of the portion corresponding to the bead.

Abstract

An agricultural wheel includes a body including a rim, and a semi-hollow-type tire including a flexible case including a sheath and a tread. The rim includes a seat section, suitable for receiving the tire, and a tool section, suitable for scraping the seed drill disc. The tread has a profile domed towards the outside of the tire. The case includes a first sidewall, close to the tool section, connecting the sheath to the tread. The sidewall extends radially or slightly inclined radially. The rim includes an intermediate axial section which connects the tool section to the seat section. The intermediate section is shaped as an axial stop for the tire which is form fitted with the first sidewall. The tire is mounted on the seat section by means of the sheath in an axially stressed state which maintains the first sidewall in contact against the stop.

Abstract

An agricultural machine tool includes a wheel body which includes a hub, a rim and at least two arms which each connect the hub and the rim to each other. At least one aperture is provided between the two arms and the rim, and has a closed contour. The tool includes a component which forms an accessory having a profiled portion having a shape which generally corresponds to the closed contour, and a generally superficial portion which terminates the profiled portion. The profiled portion is introduced at one side of the wheel body into the aperture, closing the aperture by form-fitting cooperation. A set of fixing members ensures the retention of the component in a final position, in which the superficial portion moves into a flush state with the arms, at least in the region of the contour.

Abstract

The semi-hollow pneumatic tire has an axis of revolution and comprises a sole mountable on the periphery of a rotary support, a tread opposite the sole, and two sidewalls each connecting the sole and the tread so as to form together a cover which defines an uninflated chamber inside the pneumatic tire. The tread has a concave profile according to a plane passing through the axis of revolution, and the pneumatic tire comprises two annular ridges which extend, respectively, the two sidewalls in the outer radial direction and which are connected to two opposite ends of the tread, the two annular ridges defining, respectively, two principal directions which intersect at an acute angle so that, when the pneumatic tire comes into contact with soil, by being subjected to a vertical load, the two annular ridges move closer together locally.

Abstract

An agricultural machine having a first frame and a roller with a tube mounted about a first axis. A second frame is connected to the first frame and a wheel, which includes a rim mounted about a second axis. The wheel has a tire and the roller has a covering around the tube. The covering and the tire tread have moldings defining a pattern element repeated in a transverse direction parallel to the first axis and to the second axis, respectively. The pitch of transverse repeat of the pattern element of the roller and the pitch of transverse repeat of the pattern element of the wheel are equal to the nearest 10%. The pattern elements define ribs the height of which on the roller and the height of which on the wheel are equal to the nearest 90%.

The roller assembly includes at least one tube onto which tires are threaded, and two arms adapted to support the tube in rotation at both its ends. Each arm carries a suspension lever housed inside the tube and acted upon by a resilient recoil member. The suspension lever is mounted on the arm so as to be pivotable about a first rotation axis and supporting a shaft end which carries a flange fixed to the inside of the tube for the rotation of this tube about a second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis. The roller assembly applies particularly to the rollers of seed drills.

Abstract

The invention relates to a pneumatic element for an agricultural tool comprising a non-inflated tire with a capacity to deform to promote the separation of the earth. However, increasing the capacity of the tire to deform is not sufficient to achieve a functional agricultural tool. The tire must be rigid enough to work the ground and the pneumatic elements must be resistant to shocks and the efforts exerted on them. This invention solves these problems by proposing an agricultural tool element comprising an uninflated tire with a tread and a pair of sidewalls each connected to the tread. The element comprises a rigid base through which the tire is mounted on a rotary support. The sidewalls are each overmolded on a peripheral portion of the rigid base. The base thus has the rigidity and strength required to withstand the forces and shocks that occur when the tool works.

The tire (1) for an agricultural machine has an axis of XX revolution, comprising a tread (7), such that a sole (11) is situated opposite the tread (7) and two sidewalls (13,15) connect the tread (7) to the sole (11). The tread (7), sole (11) and two sidewalls (13, 15) together form a casing (17) that defines a chamber (19) inside the tire (1). At least one of the sidewalls (13, 15) has a proximal portion (131), an intermediate portion (133) and a distal portion (135) in this order and in a direction oriented radially from the axis of XX revolution to the outside. The intermediate portion (133) projects into the chamber (19) in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of XX revolution in the unloaded state.

Abstract

The semi-hollow tire (10) has a rotation axis and comprises a tread (20) suitable for mounting on the rim of a rotational support (12), a tread (24) opposite the tread (20) and two flanks (26) each connecting to the treads to form a casing (28) defining an uninflated chamber (30) inside the tire. The tread (24) has a concave profile according to a plane that goes through the rotation axis, and the tire includes two annular ridges (34) that respectively extend the two flanks (26) in the exterior radial direction. These flanks are respectively connected to two opposite ends (32) of the tread (24), the two annular ridges (34) respectively defining two main directions (D) cut at an acute angle so that when the tire comes into contact with a surface while being exposed to a vertical load, the two annular ridges (34) approach each other locally, exerting a pinching effect on the ground, causing an increase in the concavity of the tread (24) and an increase in the angle (A). Applies to agricultural seeders, among other things.

Abstract

A tool (1) for field work comprises a first flange (7) and a second flange (9) which are mounted on one another forming a wheel body (3). The first flange (7) comprises a central portion (71), a peripheral portion (73) of generally annular shape, and at least one arm (75) connecting the central portion (71) and the peripheral portion (73) to each other. The second flange (9) is homologous to the peripheral portion (73) of the first flange (7). In the assembled state, the wheel body (3) has a rim (121) formed jointly by the peripheral portion (73) of the first flange (7) and the second flange (9), and a hub formed by the central portion (71) of the first flange (7).
