Abstract
A subsea plough (100) for providing a subsea channel and a method of using the plough are disclosed. The plough comprises a plough share member (140) extending substantially perpendicular to a plough chassis (350), a pivotable guide member (130) comprising an open mouth (135) at a first end region of the guide member and a support surface for guiding bending of a flexible elongate element (200). The guide member is pivotable about a guide pivot axis (340), at a further end region of the guide member, into a position in which the guide member is inclined above a plane (C-C) of the chassis.

Abstract
An access apparatus (2) for enabling transfer of personnel between an offshore vessel (4) and an installation (6) moving relative to the vessel is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a platform (14) mounted to the vessel and a gangway (8) mounted to the platform and having a first end (18) and a second end (20), the distance between the first and second ends being adjustable. A hook (30) extends from the gangway for enabling the second end to be mounted to the installation, and is adapted to engage a wire (36) on the installation. The position of the hook relative to the second end is adjustable, and tensioning means urges the hook towards the first end to place the wire under tension when engaged by the hook.
