This invention relates to a device for protection against flooding, having at least one post (2), which is designed to be anchored in a ground sleeve (4), and having at least one wall element (1), which can be fastened to the post (2), wherein a latching element (11) is formed on the post (2), which latching element, in the assembled state, engages in a recess (12) of the ground sleeve (4) and fixes the post (2) in this position.
