Abstract

[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel optical functional material in which silver nanoparticles are used. [Solution] According to the present invention, a ternary composite formed by mixing silver nanoparticles, an organic semiconductor, and a clay in a liquid phase is provided. The organic semiconductor is preferably an organic charge-transfer complex, and more preferably a charge-transfer boron polymer. The clay is a layered silicate mineral, and preferably smectite. The present invention also provides an antibacterial agent, a photoelectric converter, and a photosensitive pointing device using the ternary composite.

Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel method for manufacturing plate-shaped silver nanoparticles with high manufacturability and high reproducibility. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing silver nanoparticles that comprises: a first step for adjusting an aqueous silver ion solution containing a crystal habit-controlling agent as the starting solution; a second step for obtaining an aqueous dispersion of silver crystals by adding a reducing agent while stirring the starting solution; and a third step for adding an oxidizing agent while stirring the aqueous dispersion. In the present invention, it is preferable that the oxidizing agent is added in the third step so that the solubility of the metal silver in the aqueous dispersion is optimized at the appropriate time.

Abstract

Provided are an illumination device and a plant cultivation apparatus capable of irradiating light, which has been reflected at the surface of a cultivating tray on which plants are cultivated, back toward said cultivating tray with high efficiency. Abstract

Provided is boring equipment having a large diameter cutter head and being capable of an efficient boring even if an object to be bored is hard ground or the like. The boring equipment includes: an outer circumferential cutter head (20) having a circular opening that is pushed against an object to be bored and rotated; and a small diameter cutter head (23) provided within the opening and made to be rotatable independently of the outer circumferential cutter head (20). The boring equipment is characterized in that the rotation centers of the outer circumferential cutter head (20) and the small diameter cutter head (23) are shifted to each other and the shift is set to be smaller than the rotation radius of the small diameter cutter head (23).
