Disclosed is a method for phase-restoring translational shifting of a multidimensional image. The method comprises computing a first shifted, complex-valued image by converting a spectral signal (corresponding to the multidimensional image) to a shifted spectral signal and transforming the shifted spectral signal along a first axis. Thereafter, a phase-restored image is produced by converting the spatial frequency component of the multidimensional image to a shifted spatial frequency spectrum and applying an inverse transform in each second axis. Also disclosed is a system for performing the above method.

Abstract
A mobile dynamic body weight support device includes a frame, a transverse bar, and an assembly corresponding to each of two support arms The two support arms are coupled to the transverse bar and extend parallel to each other. Each assembly includes a wheel, a hinge, a rope, and a pulley system. The hinge includes a first support plate coupled to the support arm to create a cantilevered hinge. The pulley system includes a first set of pulleys mounted on the transverse bar, and a second set of pulleys and a third set of pulleys coupled to the second support plate. The rope passes sequentially through the first set of pulleys, the second set of pulleys, and the third set of pulleys, with an end of the rope extending out through the third set of pulleys. The direction of the rope is altered by the second set of pulleys.
This invention provides a method of cultivating purple phototrophic bacteria (PPB), the method including the steps of: (a) feeding a mixed bacterial population comprising PPB and a wastewater into a tubular reactor; (b) circulating the bacterial population and wastewater in the tubular reactor under near- infra red (NIR) irradiation for a period of time and harvesting a portion of a resulting biomass; and (c) repeating step (b). The invention also provides a biomass obtained from the method, which can be used for plant cultivation.
C12P 1/04 - Preparation of compounds or compositions, not provided for in groups , by using microorganisms or enzymesGeneral processes for the preparation of compounds or compositions by using microorganisms or enzymes by using bacteria
Disclosed herein is a composite material in the form of a bead, the beads are either formed from: a polyethyleneimine, graphene oxide, and zeolite nanoparticles, where the bead has a hollow core and a layered shell structure comprising a plurality of layers of graphene oxide and a plurality of layers of polyethyleneimine, where any two layers of graphene oxide are separated by a layer of polyethyleneimine and the zeolite nanoparticles are intercalated between the plurality of graphene oxide layers, and the polyethyleneimine is crosslinked by a negatively charged crosslinking agent; or a polyethyleneimine and graphene oxide, where the bead has a hollow core and a layered shell structure comprising a plurality of layers of graphene oxide and a plurality of layers of polyethyleneimine, where any two layers of graphene oxide are separated by a layer of polyethyleneimine, and covalent bonds are formed between the polyethyleneimine and the graphene oxide to crosslink the polyethyleneimine to the graphene oxide. Also disclosed herein are methods of using the composite material and its manufacture.
A communication frame for an OTFS transmission system includes at least one first-type and at least one second-type block. At least the first-type block includes data signals two-dimensionally arranged along the delay domain and the Doppler domain of which at least one has a superimposed pilot signal. The second-type block includes data signals two-dimensionally arranged along the delay domain and the Doppler domain which may or may not have superimposed pilot signals. At least one second-type block is preceded and followed, in the delay-domain, by first-type blocks, the first-type blocks preceding and following a second-type block having at least one identical data symbol and associated superimposed identical pilot symbol at an identical location in the two-dimensional arrangement. An OTFS transmitter generates and transmits the communication frame, and a receiver uses its properties for compensating oscillator frequency offset and channel estimation.
The invention relates to a method for adjusting an outer dimension of an autonomous mobile robot (1) which has a reconfigurable chassis (22) that allows the outer dimension to be adjusted. According to the method, the outer dimension of the reconfigurable chassis (22) is adjusted using a multi-objective optimization process, the functional objectives of which are an anti-tipping safety function, directional stability, and dimension-adjusting efficiency. The invention also relates to a control device (14) which is designed and programmed to carry out the method and to an autonomous mobile robot (1) comprising the reconfigurable chassis (22) and the control device (14).

A communication frame for an OTFS transmission system includes first-type and second-type blocks. The first-type block includes pilot signals, guard signals, and data signals, the second-type block exclusively includes data signals. The pilot symbols, guard signals, and data symbols of the first-type block, and the data symbols of the second-type block, are arranged along the points of a grid in the delay-Doppler domain. In the communication frame, a first-type block is followed by a second-type block, and a second-type block is followed by a first-type block. In the first-type block at least one pilot symbol is surrounded on at least three sides by one or more guard symbols. Points of the grid of the first-type blocks in the delay-Doppler domain that are not occupied by pilot symbols or guard symbols are used for data symbols. The communication frame permits determining oscillator frequency offset and channel coefficients in a receiver.

22, which may be further processed to MgO for use as an additive in green cement. As part of the process, the pH of seawater is adjusted to pH 9.0- 10.5 (e.g., pH 9.5-10.5) in order to precipitate dissolved inorganic carbon, after which the resulting low carbon seawater is subjected to a reverse osmosis process. The pH of the permeated brine is then adjusted to pH 10.0-13.25 (e.g., pH 11.5-13.25) in order to precipitate Mg2+222 and/or to produce NaOH, which can be advantageously used in the aforementioned precipitation steps.
A signal for wireless transmission is modulated by converting a serial sequence of symbols in the time domain into parallel symbol streams, transforming the parallel symbol streams into the frequency domain, mapping the resulting frequency domain signals onto subcarriers, converting the mapped signals into the time domain and converting the parallel time-domain signals into a serial signal. The serial signal is subjected to chirping and is transmitted to a receiver after adding a cyclic prefix (CP). The receiver removes the CP from the signal and, after de-chirping the prefix-less signal, converts the signal into parallel signals. The parallel signals are converted into the frequency domain for channel estimation, equalisation, and subcarrier mapping of detected symbols. The mapped symbols are transformed into the time domain before converting them into a serial stream of symbols.
