Abstract
an internal part having a thickness strictly less than the thickness of the spacer, the peripheral part and the internal part being in one piece and connected to each other forming an internal annular shoulder so that the internal part has a substantially annular intermediate face extending in a plane parallel to the two principal faces of the peripheral part and situated between the two principal faces.

Abstract

Abstract
The invention relates to an electrochemical reactor which includes at least one electrochemical cell (6) having a membrane/electrode assembly (10) sandwiched between a first separating plate (24) and a second separating plate (26), the membrane/electrode assembly (10) having an electrolytic membrane (12) sandwiched between two electrodes (14, 16). Each electrochemical cell has a respective porous diffusion layer (32, 34) inserted between the membrane/electrode assembly (10) and each separating plate (24, 26). The or each electrochemical cell includes a spacing ring (36) inserted between a peripheral region (20) of the membrane/electrode assembly (10) and the first separating plate (24), and lacks a spacing ring between the membrane/electrode assembly (10) and the second separating plate (26), the spacing ring being configured such as to maintain a separation between the membrane/electrode assembly (10) and the first separating plate (24) and to ensure the seal between same around the active region (18).

Abstract
A seal for an electrolyser cell and an electrolyser cell provided with such a seal. A seal (100) for an electrolyser cell comprising a core (101) and a shell (201). The core (101) is generally annular and has two faces mutually opposite each other in a thickness direction and at least two openings (111, 113). The two openings (111, 113) are through-openings in the thickness direction and are substantially diametrically opposed to each other. The shell (201) at least partially covers the two faces, leaving the two openings (111, 113) at least partially free. The shell (201) has at least one first rib (203) extending over a first (103) of the two faces according to a contour enclosing an inner edge (107) of the core (201) and the two openings (111, 113) in such a way as to allow a fluid to circulate between the two faces in the thickness direction.
