Abstract

The invention relates to a method for capturing the safety properties of unit loads with load securing means. A reference unit load with specific types of freight and load securing means, optionally also freight carriers, is generated and is tested in a test station for compliance with mechanical properties. In the process, data and packaging parameters are captured. Then at least one mechanical property of the reference unit load is determined using at least one test station and stored in a reference data set in which the data and packaging parameters are also stored. When an actual unit load intended for shipment is subsequently generated, data and packaging parameters are likewise captured and compared with those of the reference data set. If these data correspond to the data of the reference data set, the mechanical property of the reference unit load is assigned to an identifier of the actual unit load and stored in an accompanying data set of the actual unit load.

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for strapping an object by means of a band, comprising - a device for forming a band loop around the object, - a guide device which has a guide body (9) with at least one guide surface (24, 25) against which a portion of the band loop can be placed, and - an ultrasound connection device which is configured to connect the portion with another portion of the band loop. The problem addressed by the invention is that of modifying a strapping machine such that it is suitable for the use of band made of paper material as the strapping means. For this purpose, the guide body (9) has at least one fluid channel (26), which is connected to an inlet opening and at least one outlet opening (29, 30) of which opens out on at least one of the guide surfaces (24, 25) of the guide body (9), wherein the guide body (9) is coupled to a drive means (22) which is configured to move the guide body (9) from a first position between the two portions (18, 19) of the band loop into a second position outside the zone between the portions (18, 19) of the band loop.

Abstract

Strapping goods with a strap is provided by using a strap guide frame to which the strap is fed to form a loop around the goods. The strap guide frame has an upper horizontal section which is formed by a horizontally displaceable and height-adjustable lance which can be displaced from a strapping position closing the strap guide frame into an opening position outside the strap guide frame. A strapping device having a strap guide frame operates reliably with an adjustable height of the displaceable upper horizontal portion of the strap guide frame. A first vertical section of the strap guide frame has a plurality of swivel segments arranged one above the other, and in that the lance is coupled to a vertically acting displacement drive configured to align the lance with one of the swivel segments prior to horizontal insertion into the strapping position.

Abstract

A device for strapping objects with a flat strap includes a strap guide frame, a cover frame and an ejector. The strap guide frame has a channel that is open on a narrow side and a cover frame can be moved between a closed position and an open position relative to the strap guide frame. In the closed position, the strap guide covers the narrow side of the strap channel and in the open position, there is a gap. From a second side surface opposite of the open, narrow side, the ejector protrudes into the strap channel. The ejector is a flat component with two legs at an angle to one another, where the free end of the first leg is mounted to a mounting element and the free end of the second leg protrudes, with little play, into a flat opening that protrudes through the strap guide frame.

Abstract

The invention relates to a device and a method for strapping packaged goods with a strap, the device comprising a strap-guiding frame (9, 10), to which strap is fed in order to form a loop around the packaged goods, wherein the strap-guiding frame (9, 10) has an upper horizontal portion which is formed by a horizontally movable and vertically adjustable lance (8), the lance being movable from a strapping position, in which the lance closes the strap-guiding frame, into an open position outside of the strap-guiding frame. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a strapping device having a strap-guiding frame which functions reliably with an adjustable height of the movable upper horizontal portion of the strap-guiding frame. Said problem is solved in that a first vertical portion (19) of the strap-guiding frame (9, 10) has a plurality of pivot segments (23) disposed one on top of the other and in that the lance (8) is coupled to a vertically acting movement drive (26), which is designed to align the lance (8) with one of the pivot segments (23) before the lance is horizontally slid into the strapping position.

Abstract

A strapping machine may include a strap guidance frame having a strap guidance channel and a plurality of closure elements, which may be arranged in a distributed manner over the length of the channel and may be movable from a position closing the channel into a position opening the channel. The closure elements may be fixable in the position closing the channel by means of a closure force that is generated by a magnetic closure device. The wear of the closing elements of the strapping machine may be reduced compared to known strapping machines. The magnetic closure device may have a displacement means for displacing at least part of the magnetic closure device so that the closure force is cancelled or an opening force directed counter to the closure force is generated.

Abstract

The invention relates to a strapping machine comprising a strap guidance frame (9) having a strap guidance channel and a plurality of closure elements (11), which are arranged in a distributed manner over the length of the channel and are movable from a position closing the channel into a position opening the channel, the closure elements (11) being fixable in the position closing the channel by means of a closure force that is generated by a magnetic closure device. The problem addressed by the invention is to create a strapping machine in which the wear of the closing elements is reduced. Abstract

The development relates to a method, to a device, and to a system for strapping objects, wherein the following steps are performed: transporting an object (7, 7') to a strapping station by means of at least one conveying device (13, 14), forming at least one loop of a strap (2) around the object (7, 7') by means of a strapping device, connecting the ends of the loop to each other, wherein at least one position-sensing means (17, 18, 19) senses the position of the object (7, 7'). The problem addressed by the invention is that of simplifying the control of the strapping process and making the control more flexible. This problem is solved in that, by means of a microcontroller, the motion of the components activated during the strapping and of the object (7, 7') to be strapped is monitored and is optimally controlled individually for each strapping process by a control unit (20).

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for strapping objects, comprising the following steps: transporting of an object to a strapping station; forming of at least one loop from a strap (2) around the object by means of a strapping device; connecting the ends of the loop to one another, wherein signals are conducted, via at least one plug connection comprising a plurality of pole pairs, from an external device to the strapping device and/or from the strapping device to an external device. The problem addressed by the invention is to configure the strapping machine for flexible coupling in different environments. Said problem is solved by the following steps: coupling a pole pair with a signal channel of a programmable multi-channel digital control unit; programming the digital control unit to allocate any input signal or output signal to a particular signal channel.
