Abstract

Indoor method and device for treating organic waste The present invention relates to an indoor method for treating of organic waste, preferably food waste with a minimal human intervention, wherein the accumulating organic waste is stored and fermented for a given fermentation period under imperfect anaerobic conditions. The method is useful to treat organic waste, preferably food waste in indoor human habitat, e.g. in an office environment. The invention further relates to a waste treating apparatus for carrying out the method.
