Abstract

The present invention relates to drawing toys. We describe a drawing device comprising an image generating layer adapted to generate a visual image when exposed or when portions of which are exposed to water; a switch layer operatively below the image generating layer and comprising at least one pressure-actuatable switch; and an event generator module. In use, pressure applied to a surface of the image generating layer causes actuation of the at least one pressure-actuatable switch to trigger, from the event generator, a predetermined event. The predetermined event may be at least one event selected from sound event; tactile events, and visual events.
