Abstract
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of macular degeneration, which contains a Senna tora sprout extract and a Fagopyrum tataricum sprout extract. The Senna tora sprout extract and Fagopyrum tataricum sprout extract of the present invention, which are cultivated in chambers under artificial light, inhibit the toxicity of retinal epithelial cells induced by hydrogen peroxide and reduce VEGF expression, thereby inhibiting neovascularization. In addition, the extracts have the effect of inhibiting the formation of lipofuscin induced by A2E. Therefore, the Senna tora sprout extract and Fagopyrum tataricum sprout extract can be used in pharmaceutical compositions and health functional foods for the prevention or treatment of macular degeneration as well as eye fatigue.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a mixed composition and for inhibiting fat accumulation, including cassia seed sprouts and buckwheat sprouts, and a use thereof. The mixed composition of the present invention inhibits adipogenesis in preadipocytes and significantly reduces the weight of the liver increased by excessive fat accumulation and abdominal fat accumulated in the abdomen, thereby effectively preventing fat accumulation in the body. Additionally, in animal models induced with (NASH), the composition was observed to inhibit cellular damage in liver tissue and efficiently suppress various inflammation and cell apoptosis-related factors, proving to be effective against the specific pathological mechanisms of NASH disease.
