An armored vehicle cab with enhanced blast protection accomplished with wedge to wedge interfaces between the cab doors and the cab side walls that are approximately 90 degrees out of synch with each other to provide both fore/aft and vertical buffering of blast force applied to the cab floor in order to shift energy from cab door hinges to the wedges (and the structures to which they are mounted) which are in contact with each other. These enhancements will maintain door functionality post blast event (door will open and close).
A blast-resistant escape window for an armored combat ground vehicle has a cassette which fits within, and closes, a though-opening in a frame of a windscreen. Two releasable lever-operated locking mechanisms for releasably locking the cassette in the through-opening are mounted on the windscreen at opposite sides of the through-opening. The cassette can to be pushed out of the through-opening when the locking mechanisms have been operated to release the cassette from being locked to the windscreen, thereby providing an alternative exit for personnel in the vehicle.

Blast absorbing structures and system for use in absorbing blast forces exerted on a floor of a personnel cabin of a vehicle, are disclosed. The blast absorbing flexing structure comprises a bottom section forming a floor of the cabin, a first side section and opposing second side section, each side section extending from the bottom section and including a plurality of steps along a length of the second side section. The steps flex in response to a blast force. In another embodiment, the blast absorbing expanding structure comprises a force abatement device forming a floor of the cabin, a cover plate having a plurality of slots arranged around a perimeter of the plate. The cover plate is movable between a neutral position and a blast force position to diminish the blast forces prior to the blast forces to reaching an occupant of the cabin.

A blast dissipation device for an armored vehicle includes a first absorption system and a second absorption system that are usable to dissipate initial blast forces exerted upon an underbelly of the vehicle caused by, for example, detonation of an IED below the vehicle. The second absorption system has a delayed reaction to forces exerted upon the underbelly of the vehicle. The first absorption system reacts more quickly and serves to dissipate initial forces until the second absorption system is activated to dissipate the remaining forces.

(1) Vehicle engine parts for wheeled armoury military vehicles, namely, push rods, engine cases, charge air coolers and their component parts; printed technical manuals for operating military vehicles. (1) Training on the maintenance of wheeled armored military vehicles; military vehicle damage inspection services.
A blast structure and system for use as an outer blast protection component for a personnel cabin for a vehicle, is disclosed. The blast protection system comprises a personnel cabin adapted for receiving a blast structure, the cabin comprising a space forming an interior of the cabin, a floor within the interior of the cabin, the floor having a perimeter section and a removable floor panel centrally disposed therein, a blast structure comprising at least one outer blast panel attachable to the perimeter when the floor panel is removed, and means for attaching and detaching the blast panel to the perimeter section, providing an outer blast protection component to the interior space of the cabin. The attaching/detaching means include fasteners which are accessible through the interior of the cabin, without breaching the exterior surface of the blast structure.
A door support assembly for a motor vehicle is described. Generally speaking, the assembly includes a pin with a tapered section and being attached to the vehicle door, a passage with a mating surface for the tapered section fixed to the vehicle, and a latching mechanism configured to pull the vehicle door inward when engaged. When the latch mechanism is engaged, the assembly provides zero-gap with the door frame. The pin is tapered to a degree that it does not become wedged within the passage as the result of an explosive event.
A load transfer system and device for use in connection with structures forming a personnel cabin for a vehicle, is disclosed. The load transfer system includes a first surface, a second surface joined in an overlapping configuration with the first surface at a plurality of connection points, and, a load transfer device, wherein a force impacted on the first surface transfers via the load transfer device away from the connection points to prevent shearing of the connection points from the surfaces. The system and device are particularly useful on military vehicles, which are frequently subjected to high impact activities, including shock waves from a mine blast or impact between two objects, such as a vehicle crash. These events can subject the structures forming the vehicles and cabins to large shear stresses, particularly on the connection points holding the structures together, which could cause the connections to fail.

Military vehicle spare parts marketing services. Warranty programs providing warranties on goods manufactured by others, namely, military vehicle spare parts.
The disclosed vehicle armor includes a first layer forming an interior bottom surface of the cabin and comprised of a high-strength metal material, a second layer forming an exterior bottom surface of the cabin and comprised of a high-strength metal material, and, a middle layer sandwiched between the first and second layers and comprised of a polymer material. The underbelly device is configured having a plurality of high areas and low areas creating deflection faces and separation distances between an interior of the cabin and an exterior threat. A second, multi-layer composite structure, forming an interior floor of the cabin, may be incorporated as a fragmentation penetration barrier.
