Abstract

The invention relates to a clothes hanger (2) with left-hand and right-hand shoulder support edges (4, 6) and a clothes rail hook (8, 10) between the two edges. The invention is characterized in that • - the clothes hanger (2) has a surface (12) made of a flat flexible material with a substantially constant thickness, • - the surface (12) is foldable or can be deformed so as to have a U-shaped cross-section between a substantially flat storage form (16) and a clothes rail form (18) with a U-shaped cross-section, and • - the surface (12) has a first edge contour with a first left-hand and a first right-hand shoulder support edge (4) and a first clothes rail hook (8) between the two edges and a second edge contour with a second left-hand and a second right-hand shoulder support edge (6) and a second clothes rail hook (10) between the two edges, wherein the first and second left-hand shoulder support edges (4, 6) are arranged in a mirror symmetrical manner relative to each other, and the first and second right-hand shoulder support edges are arranged in a mirror symmetrical manner relative to each other along the same line of symmetry such that the edges lie on top of one another in a congruent manner when the surface is folded or deformed in a U-shaped manner along a straight arched folding region, which extends along the line of symmetry, and can be locked together in the clothes rail form and released by a locking device (24).
