Abstract

A method includes obtaining a set of complex impedance measurements along a Warburg impedance for an energy storage device. The method includes determining, based on the set of complex impedance measurements, a slope and a real-axis intercept in a Nyquist plot for the Warburg impedance. The method includes configuring, based on the determined slope and the determined real-axis intercept, a configuration of a series of resistor-capacitor circuits to model a finite-space approximation of the Warburg impedance.
