Abstract

A valve assembly for a machine for filling containers with a liquid has an adduction conduit extending along a valve axis and connectable to a tank of the filling machine to allow inflow of the liquid through a discharge mouth. A shutter arranged inside the adduction conduit and moving along the valve axis between a closing position and one or more opening positions has an annular gasket that with the shutter in the closing position sealingly engages an abutment seat. The annular gasket has a first annular portion for sealingly engaging a first portion of the abutment seat, and a second annular portion for sealingly engaging a second portion of the abutment seat. At least one flow window interrupts an annular continuity of the second annular portion and allows a partialized flow of liquid through the adduction conduit when the first annular portion is spaced apart from the abutment seat.

Abstract

A valve assembly for a filling machine has an adduction conduit along a valve axis connectable to a tank to allow inflow of liquid from the tank to containers. A shutter inside the adduction conduit moves between a closing position and one or more opening positions. A tubular control stem internally defines a conduit. A probe for detecting filling level with a single detection point near the probe tip is inserted inside the conduit defined by the tubular control stem and moves between at least one extracted position and a retracted position. A first electric motor connected to the tubular control stem moves the shutter between the closing position and the one or more opening positions. A second electric motor connected to the probe moves the probe between the at least one extracted position and the retracted position. The first and second electric motors are controllable independently from each other.

Abstract

A capping machine for caps made of compressible material includes a compression box and compression units, each being housed in a cavity in the compression box and defining a cap compression seat. A bottle centering device is associated with each compression unit and is mechanically associated with the compression box at a housing seat on a lower face. The capping machine includes a fastener for removably retaining each bottle centering device in its respective housing seat. The fastener includes for each bottle centering device a movable engagement element movably associated with the lower face moveable between: a locking position, wherein the movable engagement element interferes with the respective bottle centering device creating an undercut to retain the bottle centering device inside the housing seat; and an unlocking position, wherein the movable engagement element does not interfere, allowing the bottle centering device to freely engage or disengage the housing seat.

Abstract

A bottle centering device for a capping machine for caps made of compressible material includes a support structure, associated with a compression box at a cap compression seat and defining an opening for passing a compressed cap and a cap insertion punch. The support structure is mountable on the compression box so that the through opening has a central axis axially centered on the cap compression seat. A bottle centerer defining an invitation seat and a central through opening is configured for engagement by a bottle mouth and is shaped to guide the mouth towards the through opening axially aligning with the central axis. The bottle centerer includes pieces angularly distributed about the central axis and each partially defining a portion of the invitation seat. The pieces are radially movable with respect to the central axis to vary radial dimensions of the invitation seat and the central through opening.

Abstract

b of the apparatus, and—a spiral-shaped helical body, which is associated with the support structure and extends axially parallel to the support structure between two own axial ends. The above spiral-shaped helical body can be rotated on itself about its own longitudinal axis to move bottles in cooperation with the support structure. The spiral-shaped helical body comprises at least two spiral-shaped seats, which extend coaxially between the two axial ends. They are angularly offset from each other and differ from each other by the shape and/or dimensions of the relative bottle housing compartment defined by each of them. The two spiral-shaped seats are intended to be used alternatively to the other for the transport of bottles having different shapes and/or dimensions.

Abstract

Isobaric rotary filling machine for filling containers, has a rotating table supporting a pressurized tank and valve units. Each valve unit has a filling duct for supplying the liquid from the tank to the containers, regulated by a faucet, and an air return pipe associated with a shut-off valve for controlling the pressure balance between the container and the tank. A flushing station, operationally associated with but fixed relative to the rotating table, has a receiving tray connected to a flushing circuit and operable to move between a non-operative position situated outside the travel path of the valve units, and an operative position situated underneath the travel path. The faucets and the shut-off valves open each filling duct and each pipe when the receiving tray is in the operative position and the flushing circuit is connected to the supply line of the tank.
