A furniture joinery includes a slide rail having a plurality of grooves or slides, a trapezoidal shaped slide block having the other of the plurality of grooves or slides, and a furniture support. One of the slide rail or the furniture support includes at least one tenon extending therefrom. The other of the slide rail or the furniture support includes an aperture which receives the at least one tenon. The at least one tenon includes at least one of a notch or a rib and the aperture includes the other of the notch or rib. The aperture is sized to allow movement of the tenon into the aperture and movement of one of the notch or rib toward the other of the notch or rib when the slide block is connected to the furniture support.

Abstract
A furniture joinery, comprises a slide rail and a slide block. The slide block includes a cut extending therethrough. The slide block receives a fastener and when the fastener passes through the cut, slides on the slide block become misaligned in the slide rail thus retaining the slide block therein.
