Closed-head drum with liner, and method for producing the same
The present invention relates to a closed-head drum (10) with inserted thin-walled inliner (22) of multilayer plastic film for storing and transporting liquid or free-flowing filling materials. In order to improve the use of liners in closed-head drums, and to facilitate in particular the handling for the users such as the filling and emptying operators, so as to allow the closed-head drum (10) with liner (22) to be handled in precisely the same way as a closed-head drum without a liner, the present invention provides for the liner surface to adhere, or be adhesively bonded in a detachable manner, to the inner wall of the drum by virtue of a vacuum being created in the intermediate air space between the inner wall of the drum and liner surface and by thermal activation by means of hot air injection into the interior of the inliner.

A pallet container for storage and for transport of hazardous liquid or flowable materials includes a thin-walled rigid inner container made from thermoplastic, with a tubular lattice frame surrounding the inner container and having horizontal and vertical tubular rods welded together, and a rectangular base pallet supporting the inner container and connected to the tubular lattice frame. Two parallel rod-shaped crossbars extend across the top, laterally next to the upper filler neck of the cube-shaped inner container, to which the top of the inner container is fastened by means of two holders. The holders are formed in the course of the upper pinch-off seam from the plastic material of the inner container during blow molding. The top of the plastic inner container is fitted with two solid stable crossbar supporting pins which are open at the side and each engage over the two crossbars.
The present invention relates to a closed-head drum (10) with inserted thin-walled inliner (22) of multilayer plastic film for storing and transporting liquid or free-flowing filling materials. In order to improve the use of liners in closed-head drums, and to facilitate in particular the handling for the users such as the filling and emptying operators, so as to allow the closed-head drum (10) with liner (22) to be handled in precisely the same way as a closed-head drum without a liner, the present invention provides for the liner surface to adhere, or be adhesively bonded in a detachable manner, to the inner wall of the drum by virtue of a vacuum being created in the intermediate air space between the inner wall of the drum and liner surface and by thermal activation by means of hot air injection into the interior of the inliner.
The present invention relates to a flexible inliner (28) made from multi-ply plastic film, having an upper fill neck (30) and a lower discharge neck (32), in particular for a pallet container (10) for the storage and transport of liquid or flowable filling materials. In order to improve the use of inliners in pallet containers and in particular to maintain the barrier effect of the multi-ply film, even over longer transport and storage times, according to the invention, the fill/discharge necks (30, 32, 54) are welded onto the inliner wall (56) in such a manner that any film cut edges (68, 70) are covered against contact with the filling material and no film cut edge (68, 70) - either that at the weld flange edge (58, 66) of the welded fill/discharge neck (30, 32, 54) nor that on the internal boundary of a discharge opening (72) in the inliner wall (56) - comes into contact with the flowable filling material.

The present invention relates to a closed-head drum (10), with a thin-walled liner (22) made of multilayered plastic film inserted therein, for the storage and for the transportation of liquid or free-flowing contents. In order to improve the use of liners in closed-head drums, and to facilitate in particular the handling for the users, for example those people tasked with filling and emptying the drums, so to allow the closed-head drum (10) with liner (22) to be handled in precisely the same way as a closed-head drum without a liner, the present invention provides for the liner surface to adhere, or be adhesively bonded in a releasable manner, to the inner wall of the drum by virtue of a vacuum being created in the air gap between the inner wall of the drum and liner surface and by thermal activation taking place as a result of hot air being blown into the interior of the liner.
The present invention relates to a closed-head drum (10), with a thin-walled liner (22) made of multilayered plastic film inserted therein, for the storage and for the transportation of liquid or free-flowing contents. In order to improve the use of liners in closed-head drums, and to facilitate in particular the handling for the users, for example those people tasked with filling and emptying the drums, so to allow the closed-head drum (10) with liner (22) to be handled in precisely the same way as a closed-head drum without a liner, the present invention provides for the liner surface to adhere, or be adhesively bonded in a releasable manner, to the inner wall of the drum by virtue of a vacuum being created in the air gap between the inner wall of the drum and liner surface and by thermal activation taking place as a result of hot air being blown into the interior of the liner.

A pallet container for storage and for transport of liquid or flowable materials includes a thin¬ walled rigid inner container made from thermoplastic, with a tubular lattice frame surrounding the inner container and having horizontal and vertical tubular rods welded together, and a rectangular base pallet supporting the inner container and connected to the tubular lattice frame. A flexible inliner for use with a rigid internal container may have a wall recess adjacent to the lower removal region of the internal container, directed inward and adapted to correspond with the protective-housing¬ shaped molding of the internal container, and the wall recess may have two lateral wall parts, an upper wall part, and a rearward wall part having a flexible removal connector molded thereon. The wall recess may be configured so as to bear completely in an exact fit on an internal surface of the protective-housing-shaped molding, and the internal surface protrudes into the inside of the internal container. The present invention relates to a rigid plastic liner (12) made of thermoplastics for a pallet container (10) or a similar large-volume container for storing and transporting liquid or fluid goods, having a flexible inner lining (28) made of a thin-walled plastic or composite film inserted into the rigid plastic liner (12). For filling and emptying the container through the bottom thereof, the thin-walled inner lining (28) has at least one bottom filling and emptying pipe (42) permanently welded at the front into a corresponding bottom filling and emptying pipe (32) of the rigid plastic liner (12). For filling the container through the top and emptying it through the bottom, the rigid plastic liner (12) and the thin-walled inner lining (28) can also be provided each with a top filling pipe, and then the top filling pipe (44) of the thin-walled inner lining (28) is likewise permanently welded into the filling pipe (30) of the rigid plastic liner (12). Through application of a vacuum, the thin-walled inner lining (28) inserted into the rigid plastic liner (12) lies in the mounted end state over its entire surface against the inner surface of the rigid plastic liner (12), and is immovably fixed as if by glue to the inner surface, in particular to the head of the liner, both in the empty, non-filed state and in the filled state of the rigid plastic liner (12).

The present invention relates to an intermediate bulk container (10) for the storage and transport of liquid contents, comprising a pallet base (12), a lattice cage (14) of metal rods welded to each other which is fastened on top of the pallet base, and a flexible inner container (16) inserted therein which consists of an outer fabric sheath (18) and a thin-walled liner (20) made of plastic film and inserted therein to accommodate the liquid contents, the thin-walled liner (20) having an upper filler neck (22) and a lower emptying neck with a emptying fitting (24). The aim of the invention is to provide an intermediate bulk container with a flexible inner container of the above type which eliminates the disadvantages of the prior art and has increased stability and handling safety for the overhead filling at existing filling installations, the filling head of said installations being positioned above the intermediate bulk container at a certain distance for the placement of the filler neck. For this purpose, the outer fabric sheath (18) has a viewing window (30) in the center of its top wall, said window being closed by a thin plastic film, the filler neck (22) of the thin-walled liner (20) is fastened below the viewing window (30) and the thin plastic film can be ripped open in such a manner that the filler neck (22) of the liner (20) can be pulled somewhat upwards through the viewing window (30) beyond the top wall of the fabric sheath (18) for a filling operation.
The invention relates to a container with improved cover snap-fit hooks. The container comprising a base; a jacket adjoining the base and having a peripheral flange; and a cover which in the closing position thereof closes an opening of the container and which on peripheries is provided in an encircling manner with snap-fit hooks which are disposed so as to be distributed and each mutually spaced from the other, and which when viewed in a plane of the peripheral flange are elongate. The snap-fit hooks in the closing position of the cover engage in latching openings in the peripheral flange, which are adapted to said snap-fit hooks, on account of which a form fit which prevents movement which is directed away from the base, and parallel with a vertical axis of the container is formed. The cover in the closing position tightly closes the container.
