Abstract
[Problem] To provide a front frame for eyeglasses having attached rim covers in which the thickness of the frame in the forward/rearward direction or in the rim outer/inner direction can be suppressed and a protruding portion of the lens is not easily damaged even when the eyeglasses are subject to a shock during use, while also being able to firmly fix the rim cover to the rim so that the rim cover does not come off over a long period of time. [Solution] There is provided a front frame for eyeglasses having attached rim covers in which left and right rims 1, 1 having rim grooves 11, 11 into which protruding portions of the outer peripheries of lenses L are inserted, are inserted in and integrated together with fitting grooves 21, 21 of the rim covers 2, 2, wherein insertion holes 12, 22 communicating in the rim outer/inner direction while the rim 1 is fitted on the rim cover 2, are respectively provided in the rim 1 and the rim cover 2, and a shaft section of a rivet 3 is inserted from the outside of the rim cover 2 into the communicating insertion holes 12, 22, and furthermore the leading end part of the rivet 3 is crimped by plastic deformation and forms a plate-like crimped portion 32 along the bottom surface shape of the groove inside the rim groove 11 of the rim 1.

Abstract
[Problem] To provide a spectacle frame and a temple member for a spectacle frame, in which a decline in the strength of an elastic member is not prone to occur even when spectacles are used for a long time, and in which differences in user head size do not cause significant irregularity of fit during wear. [Solution] A left-right pair of temple members provided with ear hanging parts for making contact with temporal parts of the head of a wearer at rear-end parts thereof, front-end parts of the temple members being connected to both ends of a front frame, wherein a temple body is configured from a leaf spring part formed on a front frame side, and a high-rigidity part having a higher flexural rigidity than the leaf spring part and formed so as to include the hear hanging part to the rear of the leaf spring part, while the leaf spring part is formed so that the width thereof in the up-down direction is constant, or so as to have a tapered shape in which the width thereof in the up-down direction decreases by a predetermined ratio from the front side to the rear side thereof, and is formed so that the thickness of the leaf spring part satisfies a predetermined numeric expression with regard to the relationship of the width of the leaf spring part in the up-down direction, a position in the length direction, and the position along the high-rigidity part (12) at which contact is made with the temporal region of the head.

Abstract
[Problem] To provide a highly elastic front frame for eyewear which, without sacrificing the fit and durability of a plastic frame using highly elastic resin, is able to keep the lenses from falling out and outer appearance from deteriorating when the temples are being opened, and also allows a high degree of design flexibility. [Solution] A highly elastic front frame for eyewear includes: a full-rim or half-rim front frame (1) formed from a highly elastic resin material having a flexural modulus of 4000 MPa or less and a flexural strength of 70 MPa or more; and reinforcing core members (2) which have a larger flexural stiffness than the rims (11, 11) of the front frame (1) and are partially inserted into the right and left rims (11, 11) immediately above the lens (L, L). When the right and left temples (T, T) connected to both sides of the front frame (1) are opened, the bridge (12) and the end pieces (13, 13) of the front frame (1) bend while the inserted reinforcing core members (2, 2) keep the rims (11, 11) from elastically deforming.

Abstract
[Problem] To provide a fitted hinge-type eyeglass frame with which it is possible to make a lighter-weight front frame, there is no concern about a significant load being applied in a twist direction on the rims or the lenses even if a rim lock is not present, and moreover, is easy to fabricate and has a high degree of freedom in frame design. [Solution] Provided is an eyeglass frame formed from a thin metal plate, and configured to comprise a front frame (1) further comprising a spilt endpiece (B-B) which is spilt vertically into two pieces; and temples (2-2) which are hinge coupled to the spilt endpiece (B) of the front frame (1). An upper side female hinge piece (13a) and a lower side female hinge piece (13a') are formed in alignment in vertical holding parts (13-13) of the split endpiece (B), and exterior side portions (P-P') and interior side portions (Q-Q') are respectively formed in each of the female hinge pieces (13a-13a'). Conversely, positioning a base end face of the temple (2) in a location of abutting the interior side portions (Q-Q') of the female hinge pieces (13-13') when the temple (2) is opened outward allows constraining the outward opening of the temple (2) by the interior side parts (Q-Q').
