Abstract

The invention relates to a ring filter element assembly comprising two ring filter elements through which a flow can pass serially. An outer ring filter element surrounds an inner ring filter element at least in a sub-region of the axial extension thereof. The rotational position of the two ring filter elements relative to each other is fixed in that an engagement element arranged between the two ring filter elements engages at least into one of the ring filter elements in the radial direction. The engagement element can be held on a central tube which extends between filter medium bodies of the ring filter elements. In one embodiment, the central tube is secured to one of the ring filter elements, and the engagement element engages into the other ring filter element. In another embodiment, the engagement element engages into the two ring filter elements, and the central tube can then be released from the two ring filter elements and can be secured to a filter housing. One of the ring filter elements or both ring filter elements can have bellows. The engagement element preferably engages into a fold which is spread out.

Abstract

The invention relates to a ring filter element comprising a filter medium body in the form of a bellows which has, radially inwards, at least one fold that is spread out and adjoins an open end disc. The open end disc has at least one recess, said recess and spread-out fold being arranged so as to overlap with each other. The filter medium body is sealed by a closed end disc at the axial end facing away from the open end disc. When the ring filter element is used in a filter device, an engagement element engages into a spread-out fold and/or into the recess. The engagement element can be formed on a filter housing or on another ring filter element of the filter device. Thus, the angular position of the ring filter element is fixed with respect to the filter housing or the other ring filter element.

Abstract

The invention relates to a filter insert with at least one filter medium body. Downstream, the filter insert is supported by a grid section of a support element. The grid section has planar flow openings and is preferably formed with ribs which cross one another. The support element has at least one latching means which is designed integrally with the grid section and by means of which the filter insert can be latched to a housing cover of a filter device. A sealing element is held on the support element and, in the latched state, seals the filter insert with respect to the housing cover. When a filter housing is opened, the filter insert remains held by virtue of the latching to the housing cover. Dirt which has accumulated on the unfiltered raw side (between the filter insert and the housing cover) thus does not enter a housing lower part which has a clean-side outlet.

Abstract

A brake dust particle filter for a disc brake assembly has a ring segment-shaped housing configured to at least partially accommodate a brake disc. The housing has first and second housing side walls which are axially spaced apart from each other. The housing has a housing circumferential wall section extending radially outwardly in a circumferential direction and arranged between the first and second housing side walls. One or more guide ribs project inwardly with an axial component into the housing interior away from the first housing side wall. The guide ribs are arranged adjacent to a respective opening in the housing side wall. The guide ribs are covered at least partially by a filter medium. The respective opening connects the housing interior in fluid communication to an exterior space not enclosed by the housing so that an air flow is enabled between the housing interior and the exterior space.

Abstract

The invention relates to a filter device for a gaseous medium, comprising a filter housing with an inlet opening and an outlet opening. A filter element (16) is arranged in the filter housing. The filter housing comprises a first housing part, in which the filter element (16) is arranged, and a second housing part, on which the one inlet opening is formed and which has a cyclone separator. The second housing part releasably closes a service opening in the first housing part. The first housing part has a radially projecting collar which at least partially extends around an imaginary axis (22) and which provides an axial bearing surface on which is supported a peripheral supporting portion (120) of the filter element (16), said supporting portion projecting radially over the filter medium body (90) with respect to the axis (22). On the axial bearing surface of the collar there is arranged at least one elevation which engages in a corresponding aperture (250E, 250F) in the supporting portion (120) of the filter element (16), resulting in an unambiguous installation position of the filter element (16) in the first housing part.

A filter device provided with a flow channel permitting an air flow therethrough has such a filter element disposed therein, wherein the filter element extends perpendicularly to a direction of the air flow through the flow channel.

Abstract

The invention relates to a filter element (10), in particular secondary element, for filtering a fluid, the filter element having at least one filter medium body (12) that has an encircling seal (14) on an outer periphery (13) of the filter medium body (12) for the purposes of providing axial sealing in an axial direction (60) when the filter element is installed as intended in a filter housing (110) of a filter system (100). The seal (14) has a part of a connecting device (20) which provides an interlocking securing action in the axial direction (60) and which is designed correspondingly to another part of the connecting device (20) on the filter housing (110). The invention furthermore relates to a filter system (100) having an exchangeable filter element (10) of said type.
