wetting the hides, covering them with a predetermined amount of cold water;
soaking the hides, treating them with one or more soaking and degreasing agents;
retanning the hides, treating them with one or more retanning agents;
neutralizing the hides, treating them with one or more neutralizing agents;
dyeing the hides, treating them with one or more dyeing agents;
fatliquoring the hides, treating them with one or more fatliquoring agents.
