Abstract

An asphalt mixture which is obtained by mixing asphalt, an aggregate, an oil or fat component and/or a fatty acid, and an alkaline additive. The asphalt mixture can be applied even at ordinary temperatures by virtue of low viscosity of the oil or fat component and/or the fatty acid. In applying the asphalt mixture, a cure accelerator is fed to the asphalt mixture, whereby the alkaline matter contained in the asphalt mixture causes ionic dissociation and thus saponifies the oil or fat component or the fatty acid to achieve a high strength in the early stage.
