Abstract

Embodiments herein provide a shielding apparatus (100) for a light vehicle (1000). The shielding apparatus (100) includes a base platform (200) mounted on a portion of the light vehicle (1000) for installing the shielding apparatus (100) on the light vehicle (1000). The base platform (200) includes front hinge (203) and multiple grooves (204). Further, the shielding apparatus (100) includes a vertical frame (300) connected to the base frame (200) at the front hinge (203) and to at least one set of grooves of the plurality of grooves (204) for locking a position of the vertical frame (300) with the vertical frame (300) includes fixed transparent screen (305) and rotatable transparent screen (306) for providing visibility to a rider of the light vehicle (1000); and a shield (400) mounted on a top portion of the vertical frame (300) to provide protection to the rider of the light vehicle (1000).
