Abstract

An emergency braking device for a winch rotatable spool, the emergency braking device comprising a braking unit to decelerate the spool when a translational force acts on the braking unit. An engaging unit is rotatable about the rotation axis and linearly movable along the rotation axis, and configured to engage with an engaging contour of the spool in an active state of the emergency braking device. A closing unit has a thread and a connecting structure, with the closing unit and the engaging unit being connected via the connecting structure to be rotationally fixed and linearly movable along the rotation axis, and wherein the thread engages with a mating thread to effect a linear movement of the closing unit in the direction of the braking unit by the rotation transmitted from the engaging unit to the closing unit, in order to exert the translational force on the braking unit.

Abstract

A method of operating a back-up aiming system for an artillery device having at least one back-up aiming drive unit and an artillery unit for a vehicle. The back-up aiming system is operated at least in the event of a failure of a main aiming system of the artillery device. An activation signal is provided to an interface to a back-up aiming electronics unit, the activation signal being configured to activate the back-up aiming system. A setpoint signal is read via an interface to a detection device, wherein an alignment signal with a setpoint speed and/or a setpoint torque with respect to a movement of the artillery device is calculated and set from the setpoint signal of the at least one back-up aiming drive unit. At least one alignment signal is outputted for aligning the at least one back-up aiming drive unit after the step of reading.

Abstract

The method serves for adjusting a positioning of a longitudinal axis of a weapon barrel. An adjusting angle of the weapon barrel is changeable by at least one adjusting element. The weapon barrel is arranged so as to be movable relative to a weapon support in the direction of the longitudinal axis. A positioning of the weapon barrel relative to the weapon support is determined by measurement technology. The measurement values obtained as a result are supplied to a control device. Abstract

The invention is directed to an arrangement for fastening permanent magnets to rapidly rotating rotors of electric machines. It is the object of the invention to find a novel possibility for fastening permanent magnets to the rotor of rapidly rotating electric machines which allows the magnets to be fixed so as to be secure against centrifugal forces for high rotating speeds and under confined spatial conditions without a frictionally engaging connection of magnet holders to the rotor. According to the invention, this object is met with a plurality of permanent magnets which are arranged at the outer circumference of the rotor with profile parts which are arranged alternately therebetween in that coaxially extending rotor grooves are introduced in the outer surface of the rotor, the sides of the rotor grooves having contact surfaces which at least partially converge outward with respect to radial direction for contact surfaces of the profile parts which diverge in a conforming manner, and the profile parts are shaped in such a way that they retain the permanent magnets pairwise in a claw-like manner in a positive engagement against radial forces of the rotor rotation. Gaps which inevitably remain at the contact surfaces for reasons of manufacture are filled with a liquid, hardenable medium.
