Abstract

The invention relates to a device for simulating rain for a motor vehicle test track (1), comprising nozzles (2) which are distributed above the motor vehicle test track (1). In order to provide a device which, despite being easily adaptable to different test conditions in terms of rain intensity, can simulate natural rain behavior which is homogeneous and reproducible over the entire motor vehicle test track, according to the invention the nozzles (2) are full cone nozzles, wherein a first group (3a) of the nozzles (2) corresponds to a first design type and is connected to a first distribution line (4a), and a second group (3b) of the nozzles (2) corresponds to a second design type which differs from the first design type, for a greater spread of the drop sizes, and is connected to a second distribution line (4b).
