Abstract

A drawing and rust removal process for a steel wire, the production process thereof comprising the following steps: step 1, performing heat treatment on a wire and then pickling the wire; step 2, cleaning the pickled wire using high pressure; step 3, rinsing the wire in a rinsing tank; step 4, upon completion of cleaning, exposing the wire to the air to increase oxidation; step 5, making the wire enter a hydrochloric acid tank again and performing secondary pickling; and step 6, after the secondary pickling, performing the next process. The process facilitates removal of carbon deposition from surfaces of various kinds of medium and low carbon steel and chromium-molybdenum alloy steel after heat treatment has been performed thereon. Wire surface treatment is performed during the production process, so as to effectively improve the surface quality of formed wires without having to add other processes, thereby reducing costs.

Abstract

A lime wire drawing process for steel wires, the production process being as follows: step 1, wire coiling; step 2, pickling; step 3, coating with lime; step 4, heat treatment; step 5, pickling; step 6, phosphorus saponification; and step 7, finished product wire drawing. According to the lime wire drawing process for steel wires, first, oxide layers on the surface layers of the wires are removed by means of pickling, so that the area of the wires entering a mold is increased. Then a mixed lime liquid is used for coating, so that the lubricating effect of the wires entering the drawing mold may be effectively improved, and the problem in which the wires are broken during primary drawing is solved. Meanwhile, a mixed lime solution may effectively prolong the service life of the mold, reduce the loss and improve the production efficiency for wire.

Abstract
