Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a receptacle (100) consisting of: - using a flat sidewall (Fl) cut from a sheet of raw material, the sidewall (Fl) being defined by a central wall (Pc) surrounded by two polygonal walls (R11, R13) arranged opposite one another, two series of three flaps (Rb1, Rb2 and Rb3), each first flap (Rb1) extending each of the two edges of the first polygonal wall (R11), each third flap (Rb3) extending each of the two edges of the second polygonal wall (R13), each second flap (Rb2) extending each of the two edges of the central wall (Pc) and being arranged between two corresponding flaps (Rb1 and Rb3), - folding the two polygonal walls (R11, R13) and the flaps (Rb) such that the side walls (P11, P12, P13 and P14) of a receptacle (100) are formed, - folding over each series of three flaps (Rb) such that they overlap one another. According to the invention, the method consists of perforating three superimposed tabs (L1, L2, L3) through each series of flaps (Rb), - distancing or bringing together the two opposite polygonal walls (R11, R13) to retain at least one tab (L) at the back of a flap (Rb). Therefore, the method makes it possible to manufacture receptacles without using glue or staples. It is particularly advantageous in the manufacture of food receptacles.
