Abstract

A resin substrate (111), on which a paste pattern (112) of a metal paste is formed, is fixed on a fixing plate (101) made of a metal having a thermal capacity per unit volume of 3,000 [KJ/m3·K] or more and a thermal conductivity of 45 [W/m·K] or more, and the paste pattern (112) is baked by irradiating the paste pattern (112) formed on the resin substrate (111) fixed to the fixing plate (101) with near infrared rays emitted from a light source (102), thereby forming a conductive pattern on the resin substrate (111). A peak wavelength range of the irradiated near infrared rays is 0.8 to 1.7 μm.

Abstract

A gravure printing device includes a substrate stage (11) on which a substrate (2) is fixed, an intaglio plate (21) for holding conductive paste, and a control device (7) for controlling a series of printing operations including a supply operation of supplying conductive paste (3) to a printing pattern of the intaglio plate (21) and a transfer operation of transferring the conductive paste (3) to the substrate (2). The control device (7) repeatedly performs the series of printing operations a plurality of times with respect to the identical printing position on the substrate (2). A printing pattern laminate made of the conductive paste laminated into the shape of the printing pattern is formed on the substrate (2). This makes it possible to form lines and bumps on a substrate made of a heat-sensitive material, while preventing the occurrence of metamorphosis of the substrate made of the heat-sensitive material.

Abstract

A printing apparatus includes a printing cylinder (17) that holds and transfers a sheet (4), a supply-side transfer cylinder (16 (sheet supply unit)) that supplies the sheet (4) to the printing cylinder (17) at a supply position (P1), and first to fourth inkjet heads (27-30). The printing apparatus includes a transfer mechanism (18) that receives the sheet (4) after printing at a receiving position (P2) and transfers the sheet (4) to one of a discharge route (44) and a reversing route (42). The reversing route (42) employs an arrangement that returns the reversed sheet (4) to the printing cylinder (17) at a return position (P3) located on the downstream side of the receiving position (P2) in the transfer direction of the sheet (4) and on the upstream side of the supply position (P1) in the transfer direction of the sheet (4). A cooling means (45) for cooling the transfer surface (24 (outer peripheral surface)) of the printing cylinder (17) is provided between the receiving position (P2) and the return position (P3). It is possible to provide the printing apparatus that suppresses an increase in the temperature of the transfer surface of the printing cylinder and always sets the temperature of the sheet at an appropriate temperature.

Abstract

Provided is a method for automatically adjusting the contact pressure between an intaglio cylinder and a wiping roller that further limits the amount of defective prints generated. The method adjusts said contact pressure by changing the position of the wiping roller shaft center with respect to the intaglio cylinder shaft center using a contact pressure adjustment motor. At least the position of the wiping roller shaft center at low speed and the position of the wiping roller shaft center during printing operation for which the contact pressures have been optimized during a previous printing are stored. Before starting the current printing operation, the wiping roller is moved to the stored low speed position. Then when the current printing operation is started, the wiping roller is moved to the stored printing operation position.

The masking sheet includes a non-sucking portion which protrudes from the boundary of the suction chambers toward the inside of the suction chambers. A number of through holes are formed in a portion except for the non-sucking portion in the masking sheet. The non-sucking portion exists between the sheet to be printed and the boundary of the suction chamber to be used and the suction chamber not to be used. This can prevent an ink mist from adhering to the printing cylinder.

Abstract

A printing press includes a printing cylinder, inkjet heads, and an ink drying lamp. A non-metal sheet is attached to an outer surface of the printing cylinder. The non-metal sheet includes a main body made of a non-metal material in a sheet-like shape, and a plurality of ventilation portions through which air passes in a thickness direction of the main body. This makes it possible to efficiently dissipate heat of the printing cylinder while preventing the printing cylinder from being overheated when an amount of heat generated at the time of printing is transferred to the surface of the printing cylinder.

Abstract

A sheet-like member holding device includes a first holding unit disposed between a gripper receiving portion and a side wall of a gap, and configured to hold a base of a non-metal sheet. The first holding unit includes a space in which the base is inserted while the non-metal sheet extends inward in a radial direction from an outer surface side of a printing cylinder, and an abutment wall configured to restrict movement of the base to the outside in the radial direction. An end portion of the space in an axial direction of the printing cylinder is open to the outside. This makes it possible to attach and detach the non-metal sheet by a simple method without moving a gripper member or gripper pad.

Abstract

An ink supply method in an ink supply apparatus including an ink fountain, a plurality of ink fountain keys, an ink fountain roller, an ink ductor roller, and an ink roller group. An ink film thickness distribution corresponding to an image on a printing plate is formed in the ink roller group. The ink roller group is divided into a plurality of roller subgroups. After or before division, a throw-on operation is performed for at least one of the plurality of roller subgroups, and a plate cylinder on which the printing plate to be used for printing of the next job is mounted. Ink in at least one of the plurality of roller subgroups is supplied to the printing plate mounted on the plate cylinder by rotating the plate cylinder and at least one of the plurality of roller subgroups. This invention discloses an apparatus for controlling ink supply amount/registration adjustment in a printing press. The apparatus includes a base, sensor head, sensor head moving unit, first detector, second detector, and control unit. The sensor head moving unit includes a upward/downward position adjusting unit which adjusts the upward/downward position of the sensor head. The second detector detects the upward/downward position of a color bar when color matching data of a color patch of each color in the color bar is measured by the first detector. The upward/downward position adjusting unit adjusts the upward/downward position of the sensor head based on the upward/downward position of the color bar, which is detected by the second detector. A method of controlling ink supply amount/registration adjustment in a printing press is also disclosed.

Abstract

Provided is a jacket to be installed on a surface of one of impression cylinders and transport cylinders. The jacket is produced by the following process. Super hard particles, such as ceramic particles, are scattered on a surface of a sheet-shaped base member. A plating layer is then formed on the surface of the base member in a way that a convex and concave profile formed of the super hard particles is left. In the plating layer, fine particles of low surface energy resin are uniformly dispersed.
