Abstract

[Problem] To provide a load sensing transmission which is small, effects velocity switching in a smooth manner, and can perform RPM switching safely without requiring a neutral state, and to provide a winch comprising the load sensing transmission. [Solution] When the rotation of a sun gear (14) is transmitted by way of a pinion shaft (6) and planetary gears (17, 18) are thereby rotated, if the rotation of an internally toothed ring gear (19) positioned around the planetary gears (17, 18) is restricted, rotation that has been decreased by the rotation and revolution of the planetary gears (17, 18) is output from a planetary carrier (16). If the planetary gears (17, 18) rotate and revolve without the rotation of the internally toothed ring gear (19) being restricted, rotation that is not decreased is output from the planetary carrier (16). The rotation of the internally toothed ring gear (19) is restricted and freed by a meshing pawl (35) by means of a load sensing mechanism (22). Rotation of the planetary carrier (16) is output by way of a plate (23) comprising a slider, load springs (24, 25), and a plate (30) comprising a cam.

Abstract

A miniaturized, light-weight load sensing transmission which inputs an
external rotation and
outputs a high or low speed, depending on the sensed load, and in which there
is no neutral state
position when rotation speed is switched, thereby providing safe, secure and
smooth speed
switching; and a hoisting machine including the load sensing transmission. The
load sensing
transmission (11) includes: a variable speed mechanism to transmit the input
external rotation as
a high speed without changing the speed or as a low speed after decelerating
the speed; and a
load sensing mechanism (22) to sense a high or low load of an output side of
the variable speed
mechanism, to switch an output rotation of the variable speed mechanism to a
low or high speed
state by engaging with or disengaging from the variable speed mechanism.
