Abstract

A control apparatus for an anti-slide system of a rail vehicle includes a slip control device, which is designed to determine a slip between the wheel and a rail operatively connected thereto from the sensed state variables, the slip control device being designed to actuate the actuator by the output device. The control apparatus further has a slip limiting device, which is designed to specify a slip range for the slip control device, wherein the slip limiting device has at least a first operating mode and a second operating mode, which can be switched over by an operating mode signal, wherein a first slip range is assigned to the first operating mode and a second slip range is assigned to the second operating mode. A corresponding control method makes control of an actuation value for the actuator possible in order to adjust the slip in a predetermined slip range.

Abstract

A device and method control dispensing of adhesion-increasing agent of a rail vehicle. At least one wheel speed sensor and/or wheel acceleration sensor and/or wheel torque sensor measures the wheel speed or wheel rotational speed and/or the wheel acceleration of a particular wheel and/or the wheel torque acting on the wheel. A measuring unit determines the vehicle speed and/or the acceleration in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the entire rail vehicle. A calculation unit ascertains the ratio of the wheel speed or wheel rotational speed of the wheel and the speed of the rail vehicle and/or the ratio of the wheel acceleration and the acceleration in the longitudinal direction of the rail vehicle and/or the ratio between the target torque and the actual torque acting on the wheel; a change in ratio is used to control dispensing of the adhesion-increasing agent.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for monitoring and influencing the thermal state of a friction brake system of a rail vehicle on the basis of a calculated or estimated predictive friction element temperature (Tpred) of at least one friction element (1, 2) of the friction brake system. The method has at least the following steps: detecting at least one parameter which characterizes the current driving operation situation of the rail vehicle; calculating, estimating, or determining a first temperature component (TCUrrent) of the predictive friction element temperature (Tpred) on the basis of the current driving operation situation of the rail vehicle; and taking into consideration a first temperature component (Tcurrent) while monitoring and influencing the thermal state of the friction brake system. According to the invention, while monitoring and influencing the thermal state of the friction brake system, a second temperature component (dT) of the predictive friction element temperature (Tpred) is additionally taking into consideration which would be set on the at least one friction element (1, 2) in addition to the first temperature component (Tcurrent) with the assumption that a braking process with a defined braking mode is being carried out virtually or theoretically in the current driving operation situation of the rail vehicle, and the predictive friction element temperature (Tpred) of the at least one friction element (1, 2) is determined as the sum of the first temperature component (Tcurrent) and the second temperature component (dT). If the predictive friction element temperature (Tpred) is greater than the permissible friction element maximum temperature (Tmax) of the at least one friction element (1, 2), a first signal is generated which represents a potentially thermally critical state of the at least one friction element (1, 2), otherwise the first signal is not generated.

Abstract

Disclosed embodiments relate to a method for calibrating a coordinate system of a multi-axis deceleration sensor in a rail vehicle, including calibrating the vertical axis of the sensor to the vertical axis of the vehicle, measuring the acceleration along the longitudinal and transverse axis of the sensor during a braking process of the rail vehicle at a low speed and at a standstill over a time curve, determining an offset vector at a standstill, the offset vector consisting partly of a component in the longitudinal direction and partly of a component in the transverse direction of the sensor and representing the influence of the gravitational acceleration on the measured acceleration of the rail vehicle, and ascertaining at least one resulting acceleration vector of the coordinate system of the sensor about the vertical axis of the sensor such that the at least one resulting acceleration vector faces the vehicle longitudinal direction.

Abstract

An emergency brake valve system for a pneumatic brake system of a vehicle, in particular of a rail vehicle, includes a first valve and a second valve, wherein the first valve is configured to conduct an auxiliary pressure to, or isolate this from, the second valve, whereas the second valve is configured to provide either a static or a regulated pressure in a manner which is dependent on the auxiliary pressure. The first valve is configured in such a way that it isolates the prevailing auxiliary pressure from the second valve in regular operation, with the result that the second valve provides a regulated pressure, and that it conducts the prevailing auxiliary pressure to the second valve in emergency operation, with the result that the second valve provides a static pressure.
